  • Morning Ladies,

Urgh feeling rough today, so glad it's Friday! TMI alert - I'm nearly 27 weeks and my boobs have started leaking quite a lot, is this normal? I really wasn't expecting this to happen until later on. Luckily it happened at home, good job really as my top was soaked through. Have packed my bra with pads this morning and have quite a few layers on so I'm hoping there'll be no 'accidents' - can't help but keep looking at my boobs to check.

Beaks - Yes, normal I'm afraid, it's a pain isn't it! Mine do as well, not enough to soak my top, but enough to be irritating.

I have my very energetic friend coming to visit for the weekend, and I am a wreck today. I am just going to use her to entertain Oli I think, while I shamelessly sit with a cup of tea and a practice birthday cake for his 2nd birthday. They can take my bike and go and tear up Bedgebury forest with OH.

Here's some shameless brain-picking for all of you - what is your favourite memory of children's birthday parties? Food, games, whatever. We are just going to have a family party next weekend for Oli's 2nd birthday, and he will just be delighted to have lots of uncles and grandparents around, he won't notice much else, so it's mostly for the adults' benefit. We don't have much space, or enough chairs, so I'm going to do a buffet tea, and put a cloth out on the floor, and make them all sit on the floor like big kids.

Definitely going to do jelly and ice cream, and sausage rolls, but then my imagination goes and curls up in a corner. I need brilliant ideas for a cake as well - I can bake, and do modest things with icing and sugarpaste, but I need inspiration for what it should look like :rotfl:

Thanks tickle will have to get some I think, DD was up last night crying because of the itching and she hates the calamine lotion.

Good luck with scans today Coops and Princess.

Beaktron not an expert but your milk (colostrum?) could be coming in early!

Catwoman I did LOL when I read about your DH and knowing it all men huh!:rotfl:

Anyone else round about the same number of weeks as me (16 tomorrow) have quite a high bump? I carried DD quite high throughout and it almost feels/looks like bubs is filling the space again but don't think it would be up there yet IYSWIM? I am overweight so I seem to have 2 bumps one above my waist and one below-not an attractive sight and I can't rely on my clothes to hold it in anymore :o:(

Fuzz, sounds like you're getting more hassle on here to get on with it than you probably have in RL, so will just say good luck for when it happens :)

  • Morning chapettes.

Hang on in there Fuzz..i'm sure pumpkin isn't far away now! Good news on your mum too.:T

Ooh and Legsie may already be a mum!:j It's so exciting to know that folk I started out with on the TTC thread are on the brink of motherhood now!!:D

I've decided to work from home today. I'm finding sitting at a desk for 7+hours a day, plus a stupid commute on pubic transport is taking it out of me a bit. If work don't like it...TOUGH!:p

I'm good, ta. Nice to see you're working from home. How are things with you and your bump?

5 days to go til my scan :j Not much else to report apart from that. Heartburn woke me up during the night, so Gaviscon is now my favourite tipple :)

Actually, does anyone know where I can buy the big bag of lovehearts? I'm off into town in a bit to pay my CC bill (boo) and there's a poundland and a Wilko's. Do you think they'll sell them?

  • Thanks for all the good lucks guys I'm so excited i was SO sure it was a boy but doubts have been creeping in over the last few weeks so I'm only 60/40 thinking it's a boy now. I keep visualizing it swishing around in the fluid and I'm trying to work out if I can visualize a little winky too :o;)
