Thanks Nic and Charlie that has made me feel better. Nic my bump sounds exactly the same as yours, rock solid under by bbs (and a flabby belly LOL!).

Kind of excited but not as much as 1st pregnancy (keep forgetting I am pregnant!
Secretly would love a girl (not admitted that to anyone yet) but everyone thinks it's a boy

Hi Ladies,

Sorry nothing seems to be happening Fuzz, but exciting about Legs

I had a growth scan yesterday as my Midwife was worried that i had lots of fluid and a small baby, so i was a bit shocked to be told that i had normal fluid and a very large baby!! My baby is measuring 8lbs 10oz and i still have 2 weeks to go!!????????

Oh well.

I also got my first thing to trial for Bizziebaby, i got sent some naturebaby nappies, so they should be useful. Also my best friend hired me a Tens machine so i have that for when everything kicks off. I am on the RLT, eating pineapple and curries, and last night went to some fireworks in the hope it would scare the baby out! I think i really want it out now if it is that big! Yesterday i was soooo uncomfortable all day that i swore something was going to happen, i couldn't even think about going to bed until 1am as was so uncomfortable, but today everything seems to have settled down, so may go for a little shop to see about some larger clothes as a back up!

Leopardlady - Do you know if you'e having a boy or a girl? Or is it a surprise?

Sounds good on the Bizziebaby thing. I got my first tester this week - a relaxation CD - haven't tried it yet though

Sammy we don't know, the sonographer yesterday was lovely and kept saying i am going to the top end, so the baby's bottom end if you want to look away now. We both are just happy if we have a healthy baby, but i am not very scared about how big it may be!

oooh can you update me as my due date has changed to 19th May following scan.

Had a tiny tiny tiny speck of blood this morning but not worried as i know now week 12 is moving week and its expected lol. Also feeling tingles and slight aching so think everythings trying to pop upwards. i think lol anyways not worrying about it. Done enough of that lately

Want another scan i miss seeing my baby bobbing up and down lol. I wish i could have a scan weekly .

My daughter's baby is due Christmas week - her 3rd son. As she already had 2 boys to her husband I think the odds were fairly high, something like 80% or 4 in 5 chance of having a boy. She is delighted now its a boy as her other two are so loving and caring.

LeopardLady - I've heard several people, including midwives, say that bigger babies with a bit of fat on them slide out easier than little angular ones My first at 9lb4oz certainly did. (In delivery suite for 10 minutes, out in 4 pushes, no tears - hoping no.2 is as straightforward, and no bigger!).

Still, LeopardCub, stay off the pies for the next couple of weeks, 8lb11oz is plenty big enough for anyone thanks, especially your mummy!
