Congrats Emsy on getting to the top :T- im not on the list (more a lurker than a poster) any twinges yet??

CL - What kinda cramps were you getting? Ive been having these on and off for a couple days.:(

Fuzz - im bringing the laptop home tonight, told the OH that he has to give it a go with the pressure points cue moaning and grumping:D

Leopard - i had to have a dating scan as bump was small turns out she is now just 'average':)

Sorry if i have missed people out, OH wants to go to the fireworks tonight in the hope that it will set me off - he would love her to be born today so he has an excuse forever more to have a big party with fireworks for her birthday. The weather is not on our side though so we will wait and see......

I'm back again in a couple of weeks as he was lying funny and she couldn't get all the measurements.
Will add pics later if I can, I'm off to the fireworks:j

  • HIbbi there's one you can do yourself, lets see if I can explain it...................put thumb of either hand over index finger and the webbing in between thats raised is where you press at an angle with your other index finger and thumb(once you've opened your hand back out), supposed to help bring on contractions and help during but if nothing else its a distraction from the pain,,,speaking of which.....Contraction:j:j unfortunately not strong enough to make me wanna move though!!!

Is it possible to have regular contractios but with little to no pain??? I get the ubder tightenings but it's more too stretched uncomfy than it is a definite OMG that hurts...if that makes sense:o:o
KK I reckon I'm following you example of labour....how long can I expect this for?? :)

  • From the blog - Bouncy Castles

I couldn't find much on bouncy castles except that doctors couldn't imagine why you would want to go on one.
Um, how about because you have a toddler that wants to go on one and won't go in by themselves. Or maybe because you kid has been pinned in the corner by some fat kid and you have to retrieve them. Or maybe, just maybe, bouncy castles are awesome so that they should shut their pie holes because it doesn't matter why, it just matters if it's safe.

Like I said, I didn't find a lot about bouncy castles but I did find a bit on trampolines as they seem to fall in similar camps. The big worry seems to be about you falling off and breaking a limb although I fail to see how that is a danger that is unique to pregnancy – we all try to avoid snapping a wrist, don't we?

Balance was another issue although, I think that would be more of a danger to the little kids jumping in the castle more than it would be for you. Can you imagine the trauma of being three-years old and having a woman that's 39-weeks pregnant fall on you? The horror (said with a raspy whisper).

As for knocking something important loose (like the baby) that was reserved more for amusement park rides because bouncy castles aren't really jolting as much as they are, well, bouncy so that didn't seem to be much of an issue.

Personally, I think the bigger danger is you wetting your pants with all that bouncing. Hey, you can just blame it on the toddler you knocked over with your bad@$$ tsunami moves – if they don't want the hassle, they should get out of the castle!

Omg! Laughing so hard here! :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hibbi, Sort of period like cramps, but since my insides got all rearranged by Peanut, I find it hard to distinguish between wind pains and other stomach pains. Does anyone else feel like this?

I get those type of cramps and my belly tightens up. I find it hard to distinguish the difference too.

Im impatient and i want to know how i will know its the real thing - everyone tells me "you'll just know" every twinge im sat thinking - is this the start of something?? but no :(
