If it helps, I used a canesten pessary the other week because cream just wasnt touching it and all has been fine. I asked the doctor if it would affect bubs but he said no and he was right, all fine and dandy down there now!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

Pukkamum, thanks for that. Will get her to try, she does use tampons, so should manage it. do you just leave the yoghurt up there, or wash it out? Sorry, this may sound dumb,i really have no clue...i've never suffered with it.
Duemarch, yes, she started her period about 18 months ago, at a very young age. I didn't start til i was 1, so wasn't expecting her to start so young. I'm sure they add stuff to food these days, so that kids develop quicker...she has the figure of an 18 year old model.
Butterfly lady- they did a swab a while ago and said it was thrush, i didn't realise girls so youg could get it. She's not sexually active and if i have my way won't be for a very very long time. It frightens the life out of me to think that people her age are having sex.
I think if i go to the nurse pessaries would be the only other option.
She wears cotton pants and no longer wears tights and has loose trousers for school....please don;t go away, thanks for your help
Lillian, thanks for the link, will check it out when i get in from work (which i need to think about getting ready for-need to reapply make up, really can't be arsed today)
Thanks for the help and replies from all of you...i love all you ladies and don't know where i'd be without you. I've never met any of you, but feel closer to you than i do some of my friends who i've known for years.

LOL, Sorry Fuzz but this comment has just made me spit my tea on the laptop!
DueMarch - Lovin' the hampers - you are so clever!
Giz - Your buyer sounds a bit dodgy to me too, when I sell anything now on ebay I always put no returns in the description as I've been burnt before
Congrats Plymouth - I managed to get debt free at the beginning of October and its the best feeling!!
Also welcome datamonkey & evansangel
Pukka - glad your BP has come down
Hello to anyone I've missed!!
Just a quick update from me, had GTT yesterday which (because I haven't heard otherwise) must be ok. Apparently I had to have one because I've had a previous stillbirth, never heard that one before but best to be safe than sorry.
Been to see madwife this morning and it wasn't my usual one and she was fantastic! Listened to the little fella who kept kicking the doppler away when she was trying to have a listen, I have my HiP form to post later on and she give me a quick measure and everything is on track :T
Also, does anyone think its too early to start packing my hospital bag? I'm 27 weeks on Saturday.
I have the physio at 11.30 so must dash, catch up later on xVirtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
SMP isn't tax free. MA is.
Sorry that's right the first 6 weeks will prob have some tax off, to keep it really simple once maternity pay goes down to the £124.88 a week rate regardless of whether it's SMP or MA you won't pay any tax if you have a standard tax code (647L this year and 747L from April 11)AKA: PC

Great to see you moving over EvansAngel
Sorry to hear your DD is having to deal with all this JoJo it sounds awful and how stupid that they can't give her anything until she is 16 - it's obviously causing a lot of distress to herI don't have any tips I'm afraid as have never suffered with thrush at all but I really hope you find something that works for her soon so she doesn't have to keep going through all this.
Fuzz I'm sure there will be an excess of firecrackers around after bonfire night if the worst comes to the worstyour comment made me laugh!
Giz I am fast losing my patience with people on Ebay. I've sold a couple of things recently, first ones I've listed in ages and am pretty sure that one of the buyers was pulling a fast one on me saying the item was damaged when she receieved it yet it was fine when it left me, she refused to send it back because I said I wouldn't pay the return postage (I clearly state no returns on all my auctions) even then after me saying ok I will pay for the return she kicked off at me and said she didn't see why she should have to send it back. In the end I told her I would refund half the price she paid and that was it.
The other item I sold (a nail varnish) got smashed in the post even though I packed in three layers of bubble wrap and a thick padded envelope so I had to refund the payment for that too. It has put me off selling anything else now thoughI have about 2600 feedback and 100% so it has right annoyed me!
Pukka glad your BP has come down and you managed to come home last night
I felt rough when I got home last night from worktired and just felt really off colour so went straight to bed. Didn't feel much better all night so snuggled on the sofa and had a nice bath and an early night - feel a little better today but still not 100%. Can't be doing with work atm - am counting down the weeks till my maternity starts it's a nightmare here at the moment and I can't wait to be out of it tbh!
I'm so tempted to eat the emergency Cadbury's mini roll in my desk drawer but am going to try and resist it - not quite sure my mood today is emergency enough to schnaffle it just yetOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

Thanks - I think I'm just worried because of the applicator and the "insert as far in as possible" bit - I'm not itching at the moment anyway so am just keeping it for an emergency, sarahangel wrote: »Also, does anyone think its too early to start packing my hospital bag? I'm 27 weeks on Saturday.
I've made a start - I printed out this list and am ticking things off as I put them in:

Morning all, haven't really posted on here since I was diagnosed with GDM in August as it's been too hard to talk/type about but I'm okay with it all now.
Anyway, reason for my post today is to apologise for a spot of queue jumping, have been booked in to be induced at 38 weeks (due to GDM) next Wednesday 10th November.
Bit scared but mainly happy that all is well and they'll be winkling a hopefully healthy baby out of me sooner rather than later. Will post when baby arrives.
Good luck all!:staradmin0
