Ok, hands up who has had Braxton Hicks at 22 weeks? Tell me its normal....

I did, from about 21 weeks, scared the whatsits out of me :o

    Still getting them now!

Really quite sore from cramping (constant, not contraction-y type things) and just feel really drained since the sweep. Is this normal? :o
  • I've been getting them for weeks DM!

Did you pop onto the parent thread for replies to your veggie questions?

I did thankyou KT, havent had chance to reply yet as am popping in and out

Emsy it could be that you were maybe a wee bit stressed before sweep? Sorry not very sure. Just try and get some rest and fingers crossed it isn't too long for you x

Princess Coupon - Are you super au fait with the tax system? You do seem very knowledgable. My dad keeps telling me I should see if I am eligible for a tax rebate after not working for half the year, and now working part time, but it all sounds so confusing to me :( Where do I start??

I've had alot of finance jobs over the years, customs and excise officer (VAT), a finance manager, a payroll manager, my own business, and now as a PA I do the companys VAT and the directors tax returns, Hngrymummy sees colours I see numbers I love them!
You maybe eligible the best thing to do is ring if you want to check, but unless you will be unemployed for the rest of the tax year they won't process it yet so best to ring in Feb when you finish. Basically though if your tax code ends in an L your tax "should" be correct and they will have taken into account your period of unemployment and you will be being taxed cumulatively.

DueMarch11 - I have been getting them off and on for a couple of weeks now and I am almost 24weeks, I was worried at first but after a bit of research and asking a few ppl was reassured it is perfectly normal and some get them even earlier. Hope they aren't too uncomfortable :)

I have mine ready to collect...do you just go to the customer services desk?

Sorry for the time it took to reply Fanta!! Yes I just went to the customer service desk and they had them there;)

I had a horrible day at work today - I am due to come off next Friday - right now I think I might not go in next week at all, I may hit someone before then, or at the very least lose the plot and shout lots!! Some of my staff are so two-faced and bl00dy !!!!!y!! They were making snippy remarks about other members of staff and what they are doing not directly to me but obviously aimed at me - the issue is not actually anything to do with me, and now I am so fed up of them all!!!! They are planning on having a 'do' on Tuesday for me going off, and the way I am feeling, I am NOT going (am I being childish?!?!) I can't be bothered looking at them anymore!

Sorry for the rant - I really needed to get that off my chest!

Hope all is well, Labour vibes to all of those in need

  • Hi everyone

Can I join please? EDD 11th April 2011. Baby number 2 and we know we are having a boy.

I've been lurking for a while on here and the less that 12 weeks thread but haven't posted as things are complicated - DS1 has a rare chromosome abnormality so we've had lots of scans up until now (3 in total) but so far all looks fine :)

Wishing all you lovely ladies good health and safe delivery for your little ones xx
