Hello ladies and bumps
Just popping in from the parents thread to ask a favour and tell you about a freebie.
If someone recommends you to Nuby UK on facebook then you'll get a freebie (a pacifier, spoon or teether) and the referrer who gets the most people wins £50 of product.
I'm in the lead at the moment but only just so would be really grateful if anyone who is interested in joining would say I'd recommended them. If you're interested then PM me and I'll let you know the details. (it's only my name I need to tell you so not against the rules)
They do lots of little freebies and competitions so well worth 'liking' them
Hope to see you all on the pregnancy thread soon.

plymouthscubagirl wrote: »Cutterby - you could call and ask that the midwife leaves the forms for both with the receptionist at the docs, you can then just collect? Its not a case of being a money grabber - i had mine ear-marked for my pram and was keen to spend it
p.s you can't print the HIP form off - they need to sign/stamp if I remember right?
Aha, never thought of that, thanks PSG! Took me 40 minutes to get through to the midwives last time, to book in for the quad test - they're only open one hour a day so it's difficult to get through! I didn't mean the 'money grabber' comment to sound bad, just didn't want anyone thinking I was out for all I could get - to be honest I rarely get prescriptions and only have the 6 month check ups at the dentists, it's more the being entitled to something and not having it!**confuzzled** wrote: »Cutterby.........stick those elbows out and butt in as much as you wantAs for the HIP forms etc have a look at www.direct.gov.uk should be able to tell you what you need to know. Cherydee if you sign up to the lanisoh website and they send you freebies;):D
They will send samples of disposable nursing pads and milk storage bags but not the lansinoh cream....
"We are unable to offer samples of our lanolin directly to breastfeeding mothers, as sore nipples are often caused by uncomfortable positioning of the baby at the breast and we advise that you seek help from a health professional to address this, while applying lanolin to help protect and soothe sore nipples. Your midwife or health visitor should be able to provide you with a free sample."
So I've sent for some samples for her.
Thanks a lot for the info.

Can't remember who asked for what, sorry. When do I get my brain back from baby??
Anyway..
Isaac - matt colours. ther's an almost emerald green in there, and also skyish blue at he bottom with a little light grey right at the end
Charlotte - quite a mix. white, blue, and dark red. Lottie is a very dark red. Charlie has more blue in it.
Poppy - not a strong one for me. blue and.......dark maroonish red at the beginning I think.
Purple names: Heather, Jemima, are light purple, Wilhelmina, Winifed, Wysteria are darker. My mum also says that Lucy and Ruth are purple. I disagree!!
Thanks for the info on pay and redundancy (appologies, can't remember who said. I really want my brain back). It's good to know.
Hugs to all. I'm off back to dealing with someone elses mess for a bit....
ps, feel free to PM me Cutterby. I shan't let on anyone's names if they PM me.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
