That would be me. I have a 30% chance of losing my job. Wooooo.
Any advice on stuff would be greatfully received.
If I am made redundant, my notice will be issued on 3rd December and is either for 1 month or 2 weeks, will need to check my contract. I go on ML on 11th January. Silly question, but will I be bunged on stat mat pay from 11th (124.88 a week) or will I be entitled to any extra as I've only just left work?
Not that fussed right now about it, only in a financial sense.
ETA, not forgotten about name/colour stuff. Am just dealing with work issues at the mo. *sigh*If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

Hmmm looking for a bit of advice i'm booked in for my c-section on monday but i have been having a lot of pains, they are definitely not braxtons as last a lot longer with a build up as opposed to a sudden cramp.
I had quite a few yesterday and in the night and just a couple today.
Oh and i am swelling up like a balloon feet and hands twice the size not to mention the Angelina lips i've developed!!!!
Now do i phone the ward and risk going all the way down there for them to say not in established labour (which i know i'm not) and they send me home, on the other hand they might say come in and we will do the section asap which i don't want as i have loads to do in the next couple of days BUT i do not want to have another emergency section whilst i am having full on contractions.
AAAARRRGGGGHHHH what do i do?????I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -

Quick maternity leave/pay question..
Do you need to advise the tax office that you are going on mat leave so they can adjust your tax accordingly, or is that done automatically?
My HR dept didn't seem to have a definitive answer and advised I call the tax office, which I will do at the w/e, but just wondered if anyone knew?
I'm due a bonus in December, and as my pay will be higher than normal for that month because of that, I dont really want them taking a huge chunk of tax that I have to wait to claim back in March/April time.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
