Congratulations to BB glad you got your water birth and good luck ladylegs hope everything goes smoothly.

Got mw in a while - am now 38 +4 weeks and starting to think every twinge is the start of something. Monday night i was having pains every 10 min or so but must have stopped as no baby waiting for me the next morning. Yesterday not 1 braxton hicks. DTD last night in the hope it might do something - not sure how we managed it but hey - nothing today although getting fluid thats pinkish - anyone got any ideas - was it the DTD that may have caused something, waters slowly leaking - again this is me looking for something thats not there! Will mention it to MW in a while

Emsy hoping not too long for you now too and the sweep went well.

Fuzz - am sending as many labour vibes your way as it humanly possible. Sorry your mum has to have another op. Fingers crossed that catches anything left and that baby pumpkin arrives very soon to bring a bit of joy into everyones lives.

Tinks - hope you get your CS date v soon. I know how much pain you are in <hugs>

Oh and Sammy congrats on hitting the big 2-0 weeks! Bet you can't wait for next weeks scan and finding out the flavour! :D

Big love to anyone else who needs it.

I'm so sick of work now. Only 5 weeks and 2 days till I can get out of here.

Got our first NCT class this evening. I'm a bit nervous. Meeting new people can be a bit daunting for me. :o

Teenie - what kinda cakes are you making? im hungry!!:D
desperately trying to find something not to difficult (or expensive!) am currently trawling through the OS thread to see if I can get ideas. Fancy doing tray bakey things DH does a killer rocky road recipe so will maybe get him to make it tomorrow, hoping he will stay off to look after DD as I seem to have been taking a bit of time off already!

  • Morning All

Ive not done a proper post in a while, too busy trying to get these blummin nappy and pamper cakes ready for a fayre at the weekend, god I hope I sell something!!

Congrats on the new arrival BB, quite fancy a water birth myself this time, if we make to the hospital in time, DD1 was quite a speedy arrival after being 6 days late and they say subsequent births are quicker, is there any truth in this?

Oooh Ladylegs how very exciting! Good luck!

OH and I were saying this morning how nice it will be to have a newborn again, we didnt fully appreciate it with DD, first time parents not having a clue what they were doing and therefore just worrying all the time lol.

Am 22 weeks now and my hips are starting to hurt like last time, and my back too, Im just generally very achy at the moment, my stomach hurts too. But in good news, Im starting to feel the baby more even with the anterior placenta so hopefully not long before OH will be able to feel something!

I was going to say something else.....erm......oh who was it who said they might be made redundant? Im being made redundant too if you need any info on it.........sorry I have complete loss of brain cells at the moment.

No, I really was going to say something other than that, ah well, can have been important! Labour vibes to all that need them!

Just had my stretch and sweep (I'm 40+4) which was somewhat ouchy, so will see if anything exciting happens! Have to go have another on Friday if I want, and then they'll book my induction.

It's just dawned on me I'm about to become a mummy in the next week or so!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
