Tired of being pregnant? Moi? Never :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
LOL I drove to work tonight, 30 min drive, 10 mins in and I was in agony and had to pop into Tesco before I got to work for some gaviscon or I would have never survived the night!!!! Grrrrrr
Not much in the way of sickness, tired - yeah always! Headaches, few at the start but gone now thankfully. But that's about it for me..........so far anyway!!!!:D:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -
I wish I could feel something of the little one inside me but nothing so far... Boo Hoo:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0

It'll come out when it's cooked, just like all buns in all ovens...;)
DD was 41+6 they had wanted to induce me on the Friday but I managed to persuade them to book me in for the following Monday, as I really didn't want to be induced and had managed to convince myself the baby would appear over the weekend...
Well she did, she arrived on the Saturday night at quarter to nine, still time for the midwife to get home for a late dinner.;)
We joke she was an MSE baby, with her being born on Hallowe'en, we were out of the house, so missed the guisers and didn't have to hand out free sweets to them.:rotfl:
She was the most perfect looking baby, she came out just at the right time, no vernix left but no drying of the skin either, which showed she was just the perfect stage for her entry into the world.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I am starting to wonder how I'll get through the next 10-odd weeks too
After a relatively east 1st and 2nd trimester, I am now starting to feel the weight I'm lugging about.
Awful heartburn, shooting pains down my backside (sciatica) and pain in my hips if I walk too fast/far.
Ah well..it's what I wanted and obsessed about for so long. I keep telling myself that.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Morning ladies
Paws sorry don't think I welcomed you yesterday:o
Hey Ice great to see you but grrr you have pushed me further down the list LOL - right any more ladies coming on here has to have EDD's after mine!!
Dare I say it but I think I may be feeling like the old teenie again, sickness and nauesa is definately getting better and I just 'feel' better generally :j don't actually feel pregnant at all which is weird as I felt pregnant a few weeks ago.
I was speaking to DH about my lack of feelings about bubs as it has been worrying me but like he was saying I have been feeling sick, tired and generally out of sorts and it's not as if we are looking for things to buy for the baby, which is the exciting part, as we basically have everything. Feel better about it now especially when others on here have said they felt the same.
Anyhoo better get my butt into gear, taking DD to toddlers this morning where I meet up with a load of my buddies and have a real good gossip and a cup of tea and I really need to sort my tip of a house out.
Have a lovely day and look forward to seeing scan pics later. xxx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Yes that's LETTZ. You should definitely let your midwife know if its not been noted. I had mine done nearly 10 years ago and they still wanted to check my cervix. I had two cervical scans at 17 and 23 weeks to measure the cervix. Fortunately all was well, but it makes sense to get checked as a shortened cervix can mean a premature labour.
Eeek, my midwife has her surgery on tuesday morning so I'll give her a ring then. I never really thought about it tbhMw was lovely. Heard baby's heartbeat and it was like a galloping horse, sure that means I'm having a boy or girl but no idea which
YAY - UNCOPY ALERT - mine was a train :rotfl: so at least you haven't copied me there..!!!Sammy_Girl wrote: »Oooh, but news from me - I *think* I felt the baby kick. Was lying on the sofa watching the box and had my hands on my belly and thought I could feel some faint kicks on the right side. Hmmmmm. But then I also had really bad trapped wind today so who knows:eek:
Exciting, have you already felt the 'flutters' then? I'm still waiting0 -
I'm going to add to the 'i dont want to be pregnant any more!'
I really didnt suffer with DS1 i can honestly say i enjoyed being pregnant, but this time round Im not liking it at all. I have backache general aches and pains, trouble sleeping as i cant get comfy. blah blah blah im even sick of of myself feeling sorry for myself lol. Maybe its becoause its so close between pregnancies??
I try not to complain too much in 'real' life as we have a number of close friends who are finding it hard to concieve so i do thank myself lucky we are having number 2.
Ok rant over, and on with the day.....
Have a good one ladies and bumps

I wish I could feel something of the little one inside me but nothing so far... Boo Hoo
Me neither......I'm willing it to happen soon.
Welcome pawpurss
***Weird question alert!***
Does anyone else (obv those with immenent due dates excluded) forget they are PG?? My bump is no different to my pot belly, I have no sickness, tiredness, symptoms, I dont feel baby moving. I literally forget I am Pg. It worries me at the mo that I feel so detached. Surely as it is my first it should be my number one thought all day??0 -
Morning lovely ladies (and men).Princess, I'm hoping the hospital doesn't have a policy of not telling you as the Aberdeen one does but I am going to Stonehaven. Fingers crossed for finding out the colour!!!!
Sorry Coops, I had my scans at Stonehaven and they won't tell you there either...signs up everywhere saying not to even ask. I've gotten used to the idea of it being a surprise now so we're not paying for a private scan. Have you decided where you're going for the main event?
Ordered the cot and a nursing chair this week and bidding on a chest of drawers at our local auction tonight which will look lovely painted up. Also had a play with the pram and carrycot at the weekend and although it's a bit bulky (Quinny Buzz 3) it's easy enough to operate and is robust enough for when I'm out walking the dogs - not bad at all for £100 off Netmums. That's all the big stuff officially done so feeling very organised.
We had an unexpected rebate on our council tax this month of £450 so I've persuaded DH we should put that towards a new washing machine and dishwasher :T. Our current ones came with the house we bought last year...the dishwasher has never worked and the washing machine only works on one cycle.0
