ooo emsy - what did you have to do to get one of them? Are you full term? x
I am due 4 days before you according to early scans, but overdue according to AF dates and later scans(40+2)
Basically I have had a previous c/s, and therefore cannot be induced, so I either go "naturally" or I have another c/s booked 19/11. Am desperado to avoid that, so my consultant agreed I could have sweeps from 38 weeks.....will be 38+3 tomorrow.
As I understand, they have a 50/50 success rate? No clue really, but am willing to give it a shot0 -

DD1 has watched too much angelina ballerina and wants to go to ballet, I would of preferred irish dancing but hey. Does your JRT hate water? Every JRT I know hates water, going for walks in the rain and puddles. OH wants a JRT puppy, sad git.
I teach ballet, jazz, tap and Scottish, but currently teaching in Fife, I am hoping to start classes in Dundee as there is a serious lack of (qualified) ballet teachers.
My JRT (Fred!) likes water, the day after we got him we took him up Craigowl, there was still some snow around, and he jumped into the pond!! He is a typical working terrier type, is into everything. And funnily enough he is my hubby's dog!! The two big dogs are mine! OH has always wanted a wee terrier - he imagined taking him away in his lorry - this has never happened:rotfl:.0 -
Princess_Coupon wrote: »They told me with my 1st so I'm sure they will with this one, I'm definately finding out I can't stand suspense:o I'm convinced it's a boy but a girl would be easier as I have a 2 year old girl and ALOT of girly pink stuff, my DD doesn't like boys  + my BF is 10 weeks ahead of me with a girl. But other than a girl being convenient I don't really have a preference. My scan is at 14:30 when's yours?
Ha Ha, well, mine is at 10:30 which is grand as I finish a 12 hour nightshift at 07:30 so by the time I have had my scan I will be very happy to dash home and jump into bed for the day and that's then me on leave for over 3 weeks which is brill in itself!!!!
I want to find out the flavour and we are still toying with the idea of going for a 4D scan too.
MOTM, yeah, 9 out of 9 would be soo impressive!! Do you have a preference??
Sammy, 10th Nov, not long either, you gonna find out the flavour?
Ladylegs, you had me in stitches with your IFS!!! :rotfl:
Nic - sorry to hear you are struggling, it is difficult to leave the comfort of what you know. Talk to OH, he may well be feeling the same. I did the same in that I moved away from my friends and family and the town I had grown up in and a house I loved to move to a new place with no one I knew near. It's tough, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep talking to us too....... Hugs...
Pawpurrs, good to see you over here!!! Not sure either about the nuchal scan. I had one and the bloods and as Sammy says, the results were through within a week.
I think that's about me for tonight, phew......
Nice to see you back Fuzz!!:D:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -
JRT like lorrys. MY OH old one was in diggers, tippers dumpers etc. I'm more a cat person. The JRT used to stop dead at puddles and refuse to go out walk or even in garden for a pee when raining. daft dog. he was PTS about 5 years ago now and OH got him as a puppy when in primary 1 or something so was gutted.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Hmm, you know, I'm honestly not sure. OH would, secretly although he's rubbish at secrets, love a boy.
I think, yeah, I think it's a girl. Not sure why.....
Hee hee, yeah, we will compare notes!!!:jMini Coops arrived 2011:j0 -

Well the threat of a sweep was enough to get Little Miss out
Just after midnight the day the MW was booked to come round and do it she decided she wanted to come out...
Did anything trigger it? Hmmmm well I went to bed at 11... at 12ish felt twinge - figured it was just her moving about, 10 mins later another twinge and a bit stronger... by 1am I waddled downstairs and told OH who was on his 360 that he wasn't getting any sleep tonight and would he please call the hospital and tell them the contractions were about 5-6 mins apart...
Of course the little toad wouldn't actually come out till 15-16 hours later but she was 5 days late and arrived on my recently passed nan's birthday... things happen when they are meant to, and Little Miss obviously needed her nan to look over her when she was born as it wasn't without complications...
The last few weeks of waiting SUCK - but the baby will come when it's ready - accept that it may be another 4 weeks and it'll be a little easierFind something to do that will take you at least 4 weeks so you have something you need to have completed before baby arrives! Bet you that you won't get to finish it
DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
My DFW Diary - blah- mildly funny stuff about my journey0 -
I can definitely feel the baby on the outside now... DD1 saw it move on Sunday morning which she thought was great... I tried to get hubby to feel it tonight but he didn't have the patience to sit with his hand on my belly
I'm getting really bad twinges in my buttocks and down my legs now... Plus my pelvis is starting to ache now... I'm tired of being pregnant and I have aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages to go yet <sob>A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
