I went under general anesthetic and had the loop thing, it that a LETTZ, (I'll go google).....I'm not seeing my mw again now til 21 Dec. Maybe I will give them a ring. Well I'll wait and see what Ema has for me first.

It may be the LETTZ it may be a different treatment but regardless if it was on your cervix then in my PCT they would measure you.

I'd ring the madwife hun and check out their policy.

  • Anyone know what I should expect from my 25 week appointment? Was unable to get anything with the MW until 27 weeks (28 by the time I'd tried to call her, failed and then called the Drs back, and I have one at 28 weeks with her anyway) so have gone for a GP appointment instead. If I know what to expect, then hopefully I'll be able to make sure the Dr does everything.

    Thanks

    i've forgot everything

Nic - cold feet to be expected and moving when pregnant and with kids super stressful. There is bound to be highland dancing in huntly.

Cat - little old dance teacher you. Ballet classes in dundee for a 4 year old. DD1 has watched too much angelina ballerina and wants to go to ballet, I would of preferred irish dancing but hey. Does your JRT hate water? Every JRT I know hates water, going for walks in the rain and puddles. OH wants a JRT puppy, sad git.

HGRY - blood pressure, wee check, measure the fundus (ikea tape measure) listen to heart beat and maybe a feel to see if baba head down. Been 3 years since my last 25 week apt so think i got it all, mine is next week for this pudding.

    I jam 24 weeks today :)

    Hello Ladies,

I am 12 weeks today so should be moving over here.
Am doing my head in today after my scan this morning, I had the nchal fold test and the result was over 3mm which I believe is over the normal considered range, any one able to reasure me a little, sorry to come over and be worrying straight away.

Lovely to see you. Honey, with DD1 I was told I had a significantly raised risk of Down's Syndrome. Worried myself sick. DD1 is totally fine.
My mate at the same time was told low risk, her baby was born with Down's syndrome. Gorgeous lovely girl, I should point out.
This is why I am so against testing (for me, not judging what anyone else does).
It's all statistical averages. Baby might be Downs and might not, but that goes for everyone who hasn't had an amino, and we know the risks of that.

    Afternoon everyone x

Very nearly booked in for c-section next week but at the last minute they changed their minds and decided I should have it at 36 weeks so 2 weeks tomorrow. Really scary, alot sooner than I thought. Been at the hospital all day, was given everything to monitor my blood sugars and a script for insulin if they are awful to control but I might not need it so haven't got the insulin yet. I have to go in the night before for steriods and possibly a sliding scale so 2 weeks today I'll be in hospital, I haven't even packed my bag yet eek.

Fingers crossed for you, you've been doing well with blood sugars so far, haven't you?
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

I know sorry, fuzz will never speak to me again if she doesn't have hers first eek, you would have to be pretty overdue though so fingers crossed you all meet your little ones soon and I'm off the hook. I knew it would be early but I thought 38 weeks at least maybe 37 but didn't think they would do it at 36!

Hi ladies, hope you are all OK.

I'm just wondering about this colposcopy thing now. She asked me in my booking in and I said I'd had colposcopy and she has it marked on my notes. I also had loop treatment and freeze treatment (at differnt times) and I'm wondering if I should mention it? I can't remember whether she asked me or not? I just remember the colposcopy bit. Damn this baby brain!

Fuzz, can you add me onto the list, due date April 21st. colour unknown as yet!
    Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j
