  • Never thought of any of that! I would've thought it'd be abit like a smear?!?! I'm sure someone will be along to tell us soon :)

Soon enough?:rotfl: Not totally unlike a smear but definately different and not what I'd call painfully. She doesn't use any equipment just a gloved hand and it just feels like she's rooting around, almost like she's lost something:o:rotfl: I think I had literally 2 tiny dots of blood after so just take a panty liner with you, and don't worry it's no worse than a smear and miles easier than birth;)

Thanks Cat, Teenie and hngrymummy. I think its just the hormones, i could cry at the drop of a hat today.

The place and area we are looking at is georgous with a good school local.

Im being silly about the dancing as she currently goes to a fantastic lady who was a world champ. Im worried that no one will be as good, but of course they will.

ive never had to give up somewhere ive loved living before. I think thats the safety net thing. This is my house for as long as I want it. But it would also give someone else who needs it that chance to get out of a bad area etc.

Im worried that if it doesnt all work out ill have nothing to come back to.
it need to be the right decision for the right reasons as im not uprooting the kids again.

hngrymummy, sorry I made you have a weird dream lol. Its amazing what gets into your head sometimes and causes mental dreams.

I'd spend the day there, have a good look around, go in all the shops, community centers, tourist information etc. See if you can go on a day when the village coffee morning is on and pop in.

Sex is usually the best way, but if you've had leaks then they will normally tell you to avoid sex for fear of causing infection .....
As per Sarah Joanne's suggestion, this wouldn't be an issue if the prostaglandin was swallowed...
  • Ooh i've resisted the offer of a sweep - sounds pretty horrid to me, and I'm sure it'll come out when its ready. Helps that I'm not in any pain and still quite mobile so not in any rush for eviction just yet :D
Labour vibes to all that need it though :)

Doesn't take much these days to give me strange dreams to be honest. :D Wonder what I'll get tonight after learning some spangly new computer stuff for work :p

I had hamster rats in the house the night before (looked like a hamster, but was a rat). I'm guessing these dreams are all caused by darling monster child.

Cheers GFH just this whole moving business. Don't want to phone solicitor or broker incase bad news or an issue but at same point i am annoyed at lack of keeping me in loop.Is no news good news?

Solicitors tend to do one thing, then wait for it to come back, then do the next thing. They won't ring unless there's a problem or they have a question.

Teenie I feel the same to be honest. With my first I lay for hours rubbing my belly and talking to it really early on. I guess this time I dont have time to do that plus I know what to expect so I just get on with it. Once I feel proper kicks etc and i know he/she can hear me then I hope i'll feel more attached.

Im feeling really down today. My OH has found us a lovely house and wants us to go up on Saturday to view it. BUT im getting cold feet about moving :o:o.
I feel silly after talking about it with you lot and getting excited.
But last night I cried myself to sleep (i know, silly cow).
I feel really emotional and am starting to worry if its the right decision to move at all.

Sorry ive started so I dont think I can stop....

The house the kids and I live in is a 3 bed Housing association house I got offered 3 years ago when Oh and me had separated for a while.
I love the house with my garden. Its in a wee village where the school is good.
If I move I feel my safety net is being taken away.:o

Im worried about taking DD out of school. she is doing so well. She also goes to Rainbows and dancing. I feel bad taking all that away from her.
My tears all started last night when I went online to find her a new Highland dancing teacher up in Huntly and I couldnt find one.

I love my Oh to pieces and hes a great Dad, but I always feel I dont stand up for what I want and my life has to go along with everyone elses. I was taken for a mug with both my previous long term relationships. And never ever stood up for what I wanted.

Im find it hard to speak to my OH as everything is going well for him, he has a job and a career and it would be perfect if we could move to be with him.

My family and friends are all here. if I go up North I will have no one except my Oh and kids.

sorry ill stop now. I dont have anyone in real life I can really tell them how I feel so you poor lot are getting it.
I know a lot of that doesnt make sense. And my list of pros and cons could be huge.

im off to have a cuppa and give myself a right good talking to.

    Cold feet, totally natural.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

And the most effective way for semen to work is actually not having it enter the body by the normal s e x route but by ingesting it. Although I understand this is not everyone'e cup of tea, as it were.

God - i hope the oh isnt reading this - I can just imagine him now thinking that this is the best excuse for him!!:rotfl:

Dont fancy castor oil - i know someone who tried it and it just made them rather ill!:(

Babys head is engaged :T im just being impatient :(

With regards to the nipple tweakage - i read that its supposed to simulate you breastfeeding which can make the uterus contract therefor helping with labour - not sure if thats accurate though.

Again, I'm sure your OH will be pleased, but I've heard that you need to keep at it for 30 minutes for it to take effect...
