    Morning ladies :D

Goodness me feeling really emotional this morning and then i read Tickles post and I have tears running down my face:o Congrats it is sooo exciting for you and will take your mind of bubs for a wee while. x

Taken the day of work today, woke up at 2am and started throwing up at 4am. Why do I feel so guilty about it, if i wasn't pregnant I wouldn't have gone into work and I haven't missed a day so far this pregnancy despite going in for nearly 6 weeks and throwing up everytime I'm there!! (shrugs shoulders)

I'm really shocked at the feedback about Vertbaudet!! I used them loads when DD was born and I couldn't fault anything, obviously things have changed since then!!

DM11 I think it was you asking about potty training? I started training my DD the day after her 2nd birthday. I wasn't going to as I didn't think she was ready but then I thought how do I know she is ready if I don't at least try! She was totally dry within about 3 weeks. I used a star chart and tons of praise. Go for it, it's worth a go and your wee one will love choosing her own pants!

To everyone else have a fab day!

ETA: Sorry meant to welcome digital and anyone else I've missed and congratulate all those ladies who have had scans!

Giz - Thats good the classes are at the surgery - definitely less hassle than trekking to the hospital. Do they incorporate a vist to the maternity unit?
@Sammy - I already did the hospital maternity tour (when I was about 18 weeks!). Didn't like the bit where you go after having baby. But the rooms where you labour are OK. The birthing pool room was great, but there's only one. I will be so gutted if it's in use.

@tickle - congratulations. I'm going to have a nose at your wedding thread in a bit. I loved planning my wedding (9 months - so short compared to most people, but not as bad as 2 )

  • hugs to Teenie hope you feel better soon hun, dont feel guilty.... you are creating life :D

Anyone who wants to give an opinion on my wedding stuff is more than welcome as otherwise i am talking to myself lol. I have wanted us to do this wedding since we met lol but things have always seemed to pop up... must stop rambling.

Right off to get DD up drop her at MILs so I can go get accupunctured lol

as for evicting baby..I'm trying:D Had irregular contractions for a few hours last night from around 9pm and they stopped around 4am when I finally gave in and got a hot water bottle for my back...wish I hadn't now:mad: anyone who has contractions stay away from hot baths and anything thats warm and soothing:p luckily I'm hardcore and didn't bother phoning hospital coz all bodily fluids stayed intact! Fingers crossed it was a 'dry' run :rotfl:

Oi! Queue jumper  Get back in line and keep your legs crossed!! :rotfl:

Not even a hint of a twinge here :( I think I need to get bouncing on my ball some more.

Vertbaudet - never again. They changed my order without telling me from £2 with a discount to £21. I queried it and have had a variety of excuses, always a different one when I point out that they are incorrect. And they never managed to send it out anyway. In my opinion, they are totally incompetent and possibly dishonest and I'll never waste my time ordering from them again.

Congratulations on the wedding tickle :T How exciting :D

Congratulations also to the new ladies. You'll be at the top of the list before you know it - seems like 5 minutes since I was at the bottom.

I've had a sore belly button too. I thought it might be where I took my piercing out as the skin is a little scarred there and doesn't stretch so well, but it would make sense that the skin that is usually hidden in my inny belly button is now on the outside and being rubbed by clothing so feeling a bit sensitive.

Speaking of stretching - 39+2 and still no stretchmarks. They are so going turn up the day before I give birth!

    I've been Money Tipped!
My petite star zia arrived today....brand spanking new, the only defect that I can see is its labelled 'petite star' on the leg rest and 'Bruin Zia' on the frame although the bruin part is faded so much from a distance it just looks like Zia.

The wheels were still in their little bags, the cosy toes still wrapped and sealed.

Very happy with my £59 buggy

I have a few but not many...quite proud of the ones I've got tbh..and as they're on my under belly I can't actually see them myself :D
and as for queue jumping..sorry:p I found standing on the dining table cleaning the light fittings really helped to make things start to ache and tighen ;):) sittin doing nothing really isn't my thing...even mid-contraction last night I asked DH if he fancied any dessert:eek::rotfl: I was thinking more about me moving than him eating btw:rotfl:

Ohh lauren I meant to thank you the other day when you posted the link. I had a wee peek and their is one on the site I like but it got my DH looking and he has found a puschair with a free baby carrier on Amamzon for £119 and I LOVE it!

It's the Vinsani Safari and gets excellent reviews. The thing is do I buy it just now to ensure it doesn't go out of stock (they have sold out of 2 other colours) or do I wait until Xmas is over? Oh decisions decisions. I suppose if I could sell my other pram there would be no problem I suppose. Was planning on using my pram and getting a better quality buggy than the one I have but I wouldn't need the pram as it has a carrier with it, oh just too confusing LOL! Will speak to DH when he comes home and will see what he thinks, it could just mean that it will be a cheapo Xmas this year :D

The zia is my car buggy, i have a full on pram already http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplay0_10751_-1_15222_10001 but can only fit the chassis in my boot let alone the seat or carry cot bit.

I would go for it but then i bought the main pram at 8 weeks pregnant, such impatience!

Woke up with a sore throat and a runny nose and have decided that I've had enough of work for today. I'm taking a half day and going to bed.
