For the last few days I've been having a weird sensation just below my belly button. It feels like something is moving across the inside of my belly prerssing hard as it goes. But not really moving if that makes sense. I'm usually sitting down when it happens.

I'm 14+6, could it be braxton hicks already?
  • Great pics Digital!

On the movement thing, I'm 28 weeks and still not feeling very regular or strong movements (as I've moaned about on here a few times!).

I think it really varies from person to person.

Sammy your posts are amazing! You have a great memory!

I shall definitely keep you posted of any other goodies I buy! :D

Giz with DD she got hiccups alot and I knew it was hiccups because you could just tell, I never had them with DS at all. This one I'm not sure, he does do some moving that could be hiccups I suppose buts its only now I think about it that I've considered that what it could be, just thought it was weird. So its less obvious this time maybe I'll know what it is as I get closer to the end. I really don't like the way this one moves though, he is a right fidget.

I've wrapped up everyone in plymouths christmas presents, just have to go to my scan tomorrow lunchtime, pack and the we are leaving when the kids finish school. OH wants me to drive cos he'll have been at work since 3am but I don't think I can drive all that way the 20 min journey to work was always uncomfortable.

Welcome Digital, the scan pics are great.

I'm trying to think of anything else I need/would like for the baby. I would like the little night lights that you plug directly into the socket. I don't really want any character ones, just plain ones. Anyone seen any at a good price? (Bearing in mind some place charge an arm & a leg for delivery to Northern Ireland.

I eventually ordered moses basket sheets from Vertbaudet using the introductory code. I had been looking everywhere and the measurements for the moses basket I have bought are 40cm x 80cm and most moses basket sheets were too small. Using the code it was still £16 for 6 sheets including delivery, but I was getting desperate. Does anyone know how long Vertbaudet take to deliver?

  • Morning all,

How are we today? Im so tired lately I dont know whats wrong with me (apart from the obvious lol), last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 9, woke up at 9.40, in bed at 9.50 and asleep again by 10pm lol, Im so rock and roll at the moment!

OH picked up my car yesterday yay, so now have a shiny new peugeot 307 sitting on the drive waiting for a test drive from me hee hee, so glad because it means I can get a lot more driving practice in now.

Just a quick Q for those with 2 year olds, has anyone potty trained yet? DD was 2 in Aug and isnt yet potty trained, she hasnt seemed ready until now just wondering how hard its going to be....

Sorry cant remember who asked what dept I work in, I work in childrens and young peoples services, wont say much more on here just yet just in case someone figures out who I am, you never know! We're not allowed to tell our clients yet so its hush hush.

Oooh, dd just went for a wee on the potty all by herself yay

Edit........and promptly tripped over it spilling wee everywhere before I had chance to get to it

  • DM11 - I was an in house childminder for a family years ago and helped potty train her little one. I would just give sticker stars for every successful wee in potty despite and subsequent trips lol. The fun one is when they bring you the potty [STRIKE]as a present[/STRIKE] to show you what they have done and it goes everywhere lol. Basically stock up on easy acccessible cleaning cloths :D And smile :D

Morning Due March - Gosh its lovely having the time to post in the mornings now I'm on ML!! I could get used to this! Re potty training - kids do vary so much on when they are ready. DD was 2.4, DS just over 3. I'd say if she is able to go by herself/has the language to tell you that she needs to go then that is a good sign. Can you stay in for a couple of days and put her in some easy to manage clothes and see how you go? I wouldn't make too much of a big deal - just masses of praise when she gets it right and if she is ready you should find it won't be too stressful.
