Sorry digital it does move so fast and there are so many of us, Congrats and welcome.

Lovely photo, like the sticky label, your hosp is obv very litigation conscious!

Finally I have found some affordable black maternity trousers in my size, shall I get two pairs??

Honestly, hands up everyone wearing black trousers right now, someone has cornered the world market in them.

    Thanks hun x

It is a relief to see baby kicking away, looking forward to feeling the movements. When should I expect to feel them, does anyone know?

@Sammy - it's the free NHS classes. I thought I'd have to go to the hospital as they run them too, but the midwives run them at my local doctors surgery too which is great because not only is it closer to home, but free parking _and_ they are during the day so I get to take time out of work ;) where as the hospital ones would cost me £2 - 3 in parking a time, not to mention the stress of finding a car park space and they are in the evening!

@digital - welcome to the thread :) Nice scan photos :)

    @Rockin - big ((hugs))

Anybody used very.co.uk before? I got a £10 off £25 spend if I open a credit account. I don't like doing credit accounts, but I've seen old deals which were better - like £20 off so keeping my eyes open as they sell the pram and some of the accessories we're planning on buying. The carry cot is £6 cheaper than M&P store, so with some money off that could be a nice saving as if I remember rightly they've not had discounts on the carrycot in M&Ps - just on the chassis usually.

Also do I need a parasol for my pushchair?

Oh and I got my Actimil polar bear freebie today :) He's cute.

Mine are blue... I do have some black ones but I spend the whole day yanking them up... I have some combat ones that seem to roll down under my belly so again with the yanking... I have some black pinstripe ones that I always fear will fall down after a couple of hours because the jersey panels stretch...

The blue ones are Bjorn and Me or something like that... And they're super comfy and never fall down...

But they don't match anything I own... So I look a bit mis-matched lol...

I'd try one pair, and if you like them... Get another... You don't want to end up with 2 pairs of trousers you have to keep pulling up...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

That's one of those piece of string questions... I didn't feel DD1 until well after 22 weeks... DD2 was from about 12/13 weeks... This one 18-19 weeks... Some women don't feel it till even later on...

I got my netbook on a Very account with introductory offers... They're alright... About the same as every other catalogue really...

And I wouldn't bother with a parasol... Or maybe get a plain coloured generic one if you find you need it... My pushchair has a drop down hood and a UV net though...

In the books it's says the average person starts feeling from 18 - 22 weeks. I think I felt bubbles popping around 18-19 weeks, 21 weeks I saw my belly move for the first time.

I see people talking about hiccupping babies...when will I feel hiccups? And how do you know it's hiccups?

    Thanks Krystal.

Thanks ladies, it will be a good few weeks before I feel anything yet then!

What about the heartbeat? My MW said she'd try and listen for hb in my next appointment, which is next week, but is 13wks too early? I have an AngelSounds doppler but couldn't even pick my own hb up so don't think I did it right :rotfl: If I took it along do you think she may be able to help me?

GIZ i wouldn't bother with a parasol they were always more trouble than they were worth for me, constantly having to move it around to block the sun, which it never did properly.
I intend to do as i did with DD a blanket pegged onto the hood, i know it doesn't look as nice but it keeps the sun completely off the baby with no messing about.

Digital my midwife said she wouldn't check for a heartbeat that early as i t can be really hard to find and can make mum very anxious.
