Aw hun, my Grandad seemed to get worse for a while when he got the machine, but he rallied and got a lot better... It was something else that did it for him in the end...

Maybe your Dad just needs to grieve his sister a bit and he might feel better soon... Especially with a grandchild on the way... My Grandad was always over the moon to see our babies :)

Can any of you "about-to-drop" ladies advise me about raspberry leaf tea?

What does it taste like? Is there anywhere I can get a sample of the tea before I buy a box. I'm not really a herbal tea kind of girl, so should I just expect to find it disgusting and not waste my money and just buy the tablets instead?

And are the tablets the same in terms of efficacy?
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.

I think it's a bit like marmite... Some people love it, some hate it lol... I took tablets the first time around because I don't like fruit teas, but Holland and Barrat had sold out second time round so I thought I'd give the tea a try, and I actually quite liked it...

I would offer to send you a single tea bag... But I think it's against Mse rules... So probably best not to pm me your address or anything... ;)

I have a caffiene intolerance so drink herbal tea as a matter of course (well, not at the moment). I would say get a box and experiment with it. I like some of my herbals strong, and others with just a quick dunk of the teabag. Also, don't expect to like herbal teas first time. It can take a couple of goes before you get a taste of it. Some herbal teas can be made cold and drunk or made hot and drunk cold too for a slightly different flavour.

If you really can't stand it, maybe look for a different flavour that contains RL.
If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:

I agree - it does take some getting used to. I keep trying peppermint tea , but it's not happening!!

MI3 - I'm sure I remember someone saying to add a bit of sugar to the RLT - maybe that may help?
