Ok so in other news.......I was reading through my notes and spotted that it says I have anterior placenta, is this anything to be concerned about? No-one has said anything about it to me so i presume not. Just wondering what I can expect really Ive seen a couple of other ladies on here talk about it. I know that I wont be feeling as much movement, well, Ive felt a lot of movement on the inside but not on the outside which I thought was odd cos I had felt it on the outside by now with DD. Although saying that I did feel some on the outside last night, but only faint.
Can anyone shed any light?
I have an anterior placenta, it just means it's growing at the front of your belly... As your womb grows it moves up anyway... The only thing I noticed was with DD2 I felt movements ridiculously early on, whereas this time it was quite a few weeks later... I also think it might be why the MW couldn't find the heartbeat at my last appointment... Other than that, it doesn't make any difference to the babyA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Wow! Total bargains there Dusty and all are gorgeous
Quick Q for those who have had babies....when you have a contraction is it normal to either want to poo or trump??:o Yesterday I thought it was because of what I'd eaten until I spoke to DH who was fine...seriously thought I'd poisoned myself:rotfl:

Morning Lady bumps
Have been sitting reading the posts and with my baby brain atm I cannot remember who posted and when lol...other than BIG HUGS TO EMSY i hope you have recovered from your shock yesterday and I AM BUYING THAT ROCKER.......LOVING IT!!!! lol
Any ways been a stressful one for me so far this morning so am going to try and throw myself into some clearing out. My mum phoned in a panic at 8.30 to say she had phoned an ambulance for my dad and what with me not having a car and them being about 30 miles away I'm kinda stuck in limbo land so need to take my mind off it......going to check my FB then go do something....speak to you all in a bit xxxxThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Now there's a question lol... Erm... I suppose they could make you want to... With DD1 my waters went before contractions started and I did seem to do about a million little poos... Everytime I went for a wee I did one lol... I put it down to pressure, didn't have the same problem with DD2... Even after the MW broke my waters I didn't have the pressure problem... (I also didn't poop during delivery on either of my babies
)
Hope you hear some news on your Dad soon RBG(My Dad had meningitis a couple of years ago, and nobody rang me until after they knew what was happening because they didn't want to worry me... I don't know if that was better or worse than knowing and worrying...)

Ha ha, mine is 9th too lol, what time for you??
Great thanks, I wasnt overly worried just wondered why no one had mentioned it. The midwife struggled to find a heartbeat at 16 weeks so thats probably why, so I taken it when it comes to feeling baby and measuring etc, she'll be able to??Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

Dusty, they're lovely. I think they must have reduced their maternoty stuff further. I bought a maxi dress and skirt last week, which i love. Then i bought a maternity tankini, which turned up today, but its only a top. It didn't say it was just a top in the desciption, it said tankini. I assumed that meant the whole set, i'm waiting for a response from them. May have to take anther look now and order some more:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Boo Hoo I'm not allowed to get it as I already have a very nice pink thick padded one off DD, and a new unisex one I got in the Tesco direct sale £15 down from £50 he flipped when he knew I'd got the £15 one said it wasn't necessary even if it was a boy it could sit in a pink chair:eek:
Here's a question for those ladies who already have a girl would you reuse any pink stuff or girly toys for your new LO if it's a boy?
DH says to reuse pink sleepsuits:eek:as no-one would see him in bed (I don't know what it is yet as I'm 18 weeks)AKA: PC
