LOL once you've experienced childbirth you may decide that's the only way to go PMSL:D

Can someone please add me to the due date list for 21st April, or do I need to add myself?
Also anyone have any good recommendations of places to buy maternity clothes? I have started looking and haven't found anything I like that much yet.0 -

I'm tempted to buy the bedding set now and then just add the other things as we go along. Do you think it is unisex? We don't know the sex yet - but I think it would be nice for a boy or a girl.
I'm mad on safari stuff, animal prints etc. I have loads of statue giraffes and the like - DH calls it my Noah's Arc collection:D
Well if you like it hon then I'd say go for it!! It is a lot cheaper on that site than others I've seen.
I think it's very unisex..I would have got it if we were having a girl tooMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Now looking at a £50 coat from Next. My current coat is really not going to button up in a couple of weeks and I have all winter to go through.
Other shops are Debenhams, M&S and Mothercare.
I'm bored. Hubby is on a late. I've been looking at Tesco rewards to see what I can spend our vouchers on before the value decreases. Got about £40 plus another £12 to come. Wondering if I should change them for Hotel vouchers. It would be a way we could have a little weekend away next year as we won't be able to afford a holiday. What would going on a 2 - 3 night break in the UK be like with a 4 month old?Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
No breast pumps in my local Asda, although have read back and seen what Ladylegs said about big boobied ladies not getting good results with the Tommee Tippee pump and am now thinking I might not get one as I am a size 40B/C and thats before pregnancy I haven't dared go and get them measured again yet - although am going to brave it tomorrow as I know they have grown......I just like to say please god don't let them grow too much more I already feel like Lola Ferrari
So after thinking about it I think I'm going to hold back from getting the TT one and save up to get a Medela Swing as I've read so many good reviews about them. I'd much rather spend extra on something that is easy to use and works raher than get frustrated with something that may not be the best one for meOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -

I think you will love it. We took DS away a few times when he was under 1 year and it did us all a world of good. DS slept through the night for the first time when he was exactly 4 months old (sleeping through usually means 6 hours or more in our house!) so you may even get some relaxation.
The only thing I can say is you may have a full boot, as travelling light with babies seems impossible! You may also need to wait to use the hotel pool if your LO hasn't had his/her injections.0 -

She had the mum of a little boy DD is at nursery with and the mum greeted her with I know you your XXX granny. That totally freaked MIL out as it was the first time she was recognised as someones granny. Then the mum got totally freaked out a few weeks later when she was at DD's party and MIL was there.

I think that Safari/Jungle stuff is great for either a boy or a girl - I'm the same I love anything like that - I have the Fisher Price Rainforest range, my wall stickers for the nursery arrived the other day and they are fab! Also just won a lightshade with a giraffe on it, and have giraffe curtains)

My hubby was gutted he missed that! He's a trucker and watches anything like that :wall:0 -
Congrats threemutleys and welcome to the world Alexander!
Re breech births, I was offered a natural delivery till DD decided to extend her leg so her foot rested on her ear. This made it unsafe. Basically feet first, is an acceptable option for breech birth. Our hospital (NHS) pushes for natural births as much as possible but are willing to offer elective sections as well. I like that side of it. Halifax if anyone wants to commute like Krystals fried did lol.
Lilac – With the epidural I told them that they were not to show me the needle, and just to tell me whether they were going to do something (e.g. numbing the area, inserting a needle, all done). My other half was more traumatised by it than me and I hate needles. Just be clear about your wishes and the anaesthetists are very good at dealing with people who have an aversion to needles.
Can you tell I have been taking notes whilst catching up lol.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
