Fuzz, I mentioned to the MWs that I’ve not had any Braxton Hicks and was told I probably have but didn’t feel them as not everyone does. Not sure if I believe that though. Surely I’d feel something??
Don't worry about measuring bigger/ smaller than dates... It's a very inaccurate form of checking baby growth really, as long as your bump is growing then take the rest with a pinch of salt...

With DD1 I had a few mild BHs... Barely noticed them, with DD2 I got them really early on, and then pretty much constantly towards the end... So much so, I was worried I wouldn't notice when I went into actual labour...

    But I did!

A question. Just reading up about RLT and Evening Primrose Oil - is this true?
Yeah it's true... Gets a bit messy down there... But by 41 weeks I was willing to try anything :rotfl: Put pants and a pad / liner on when you've popped it up there... And don't be alarmed at the waxy tablet cover coming out again empty...

It has the same effect as sperm on the cervix... But without all the effort... ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks Fuzz. Just post it on here - it'll be fine. I was in my local Toys R Us last week and didn;t see any cots in the baby section. I have just signed up to the mummy club on their website though.

MV - I remember you posted a link to your jungle themed bedding. Pls can you do it again? Thank you!

We got our bedding stuff from here Sammy:

The thought of an epidural makes me feel sick though. its the whole needle in the spine thing. The sunroof removal doesn't bother me so much as the epi. its the epidural and numb legs that bother me. Oh and surgical stockings

Catwoman - hope you don't get my MIL as a delivery MW as she is in labour suite not the MW led bit so if you get her there has been a complication :p

I wouldn't mind getting your MIL if there is a complication as she sounds really great;)

I'm like that at the thought of an epidural too, I hate feeling numb I get panicy and I don't think that would be great for me or the baby.

I didn't get the stair gate as it was the screw in type - but will keep looking for a bargain.

I did get the red kite baby carrier. I've not really looked at other carriers in detail, but I think it's great for £7.50. Looks like it'll be comfy enough for baby and I tried it on and it feels ok. I like the extra cover it comes with and a bit for putting your hands in! I hope OH doesn't get mad at me for getting it. I think when he sees it and finds out the price he'll be OK. I have after all allowed him to win on the choice of pushchair colour...

Had my 32 week MW appointment this morning, last appointment I had bloods done for glucose etc. well they didn't label the tube correctly so it wasn't tested! So they did it again today, but also found out I'm a bit anaemic reading 10 so have been put on iron tabs, however the MW was fab about it, she said if there are any side effects ie constipation etc. to stop them right away. Also bump is measuring 2 weeks ahead again - bump is huge, and has dropped, head is down not engaged though.

What a pain about your bloods. Regarding iron...you could try spatone. You can get it from Boots. It's supposed to be gentler on the bowels. I already suffer from constipation in daily life and it's not made me any worse.

Thanks I'll have a look for that over the week-end, though I'm going to give the tablets a go, see what happens... Just realised that this is possibly why I'm feeling so tired just now:o
