Can we see your playmat please Cat? :D

No help but plenty of sympathy on the carpal tunnel - I had surgery for mine a few months ago, which fortunately worked for me, the frustration of not being able to feel my fingertips was horrible.

I had [STRIKE]butchery [/STRIKE] I mean surgery for carpal tunnel 2 years ago, it was a nightmare, it didn't work at all and was supposed to go back, to get it re-done and my other hand too, really didn't fancy it!

I shall take a piccy and try and upload it - of my mat that is not my surgery (I'm sure no-one would want to see that:rotfl:)

  • A name I came across the other day that I like but OH doesnt - Leilani.

Wondered where I'd heard of that name so I googled it  it is an apparently well know glamour model.
My DH is Greek so we of course we have a Greek surname, I picked out a lovely Greek name for DD. I have a girls name ready for this one, but a boys name we are totally stuck on, choices are very limited and if you ask anyone for ideas they offer really stupid ones like Adonis, Hercules, or Zeus!
    AKA: PC

  • Evening all....

Would just like to ask (now that I have a mini-bump that's expanding......) Does anyone's bump seem to get bigger in the evening??
The last few days my jeans seem to be fine in the morning, but by the evening I have to undo a button or 2.......

Is it a free listing day on ebay tomorrow too? If so, I have a huge pile of things I have been putting off listing!

Lilac you should have given me a wave when you were at physio, although I wasn't in work long yesterday. I had physio too but at Ninewells :( Nothing they can do for my hands, suggested icing my wrists every 2 hours and wearing my splints all the time - I manage to put them on at night, then when I wake up they are on the floor!! Sorry to hear about your pelvis, that must be awful, I've been lucky I suppose - I really don't think I could cope if my pelvis was bad.

You would of heard me squealling from room 40 as they realinged my pelvis. Appointment was at 2.30 so you would probably of already been away. Back there is 2 weeks time for round 2. Think my pelvis much like your hands, knackard.

Why isn't your physio at kingscross? You can request it there if you want apparently.

Spagetti mines does, I think its water TBH.

Apologies in advance for the self indulgent me me me post:

Ended up on delivery suite early this aft due to reduced movement (again rolleyes.gif) - CTG was pretty crappy at first but buggerlugs woke up with a vengence after I had some ice cold water to the point of the trace been described as "perfect"!

However, as this was my 3rd admittance for reduced movement (coupled with the Dr's obvious shock when I said I could go all day without feeling baby) I have to have a scan early next week to check growth, fluid levels and blood flow which has sent OH into a blind panic!

Dr said that had I been further on they would just deliver baby which I have to say I was quite shocked about!!

They do like to give us something to worry about dont they!!

:grouphug: and appropriate vibes to all

    xx

    Sorry to hear that TigTag.

May I continue with another self indulgence post...

I've just thrown up :( I just woke up after being asleep for 2 hours with tummy cramp and serious heartburn. It's been about 4 - 5 hours since I last ate. I'm waiting to see if OH gets ill as we had the same thing.

I'm a little worried it might be some horrible gastro thing that a guy at work had. He was off sick for a week. But I've not had any diawoowoo. yet.

It's unbelieveable how much more worrying these things are when you're pregnant :( I've read my book and it says the important thing is to remain hydrated. So I will try and sip lots of water. I'm now wide awake though :( Can't get back to sleep so will try and watch some telly to help get me to doze off. Baby is kicking like crazy...don't think he liked the sickness.
