    Nice bump Claire:)

Right I'll try with the piccy again, I think this link might just take you to the album - there are only a few pics in it, and the last two are the mat (in case you didn't guess!!)

SM - thanks. Have eaten and feel fine so far.

Get some maternity jeans...you won't regret it. I got mine at 16 weeks, and although a bit big then they were soooooo comfy and I never looked back. I just bought a second pair as I wear them every single day and washing them midweek was getting a pain. I have a pair from M&P (which were about £30) and my second pair I thought were a bargain at £16 from New Look. But you can tell the difference in quality.

Lovely bump Claire :) I get to take my bump pic again today.

Just been looking up the spellings of Madeline/Madeleine (both pronounced madelin IMO, but can be Made'LINE'/MadelAINE). Names are such a pain. I've got a name that's simple and never had a mis spelling. Not sure how I'd feel if I had a name that was spelt or pronounced differently all the time. What do you think? Or even better do you have a name like that and does it bother you?

My name's Siobhan - it's mispronounced all the time but I guess people know they're saying it wrong, as opposed to Madeline which could annoy you if it was supposed to be a different way to the way people always say it?

I've just thrown up :( I just woke up after being asleep for 2 hours with tummy cramp and serious heartburn. It's been about 4 - 5 hours since I last ate. I'm waiting to see if OH gets ill as we had the same thing.

It's unbelieveable how much more worrying these things are when you're pregnant :( I've read my book and it says the important thing is to remain hydrated. So I will try and sip lots of water. I'm now wide awake though :( Can't get back to sleep so will try and watch some telly to help get me to doze off. Baby is kicking like crazy...don't think he liked the sickness.

I had the same sort of thing the other night, woke up during the night and was really uncomfortable then was very sick, that's how my morning sickness started in the first trimester. I was sick again the following night, but was fine apart from that! I've heard of a few people who's ms has come back later in pregnancy:(

I'm like Lilian, my name is Catriona (pronounced the gaelic way) and it really annoys me when people mispronounce it - which happens alot:o I really like my name though;) and that's maybe why it annoys me so much!
  • Giz - how about changing the spelling.... Madaelyn or something like that. So that it is more likely to be pronounced the way you want.

  • We are also having some name trouble... (Dutch OH)
For example, he said he liked the name Felix ("FAYlix"), I said I thought "FEElix" was ok. He says no, it's "FAYlix" - that's what he'd be called (we live in Holland). So I say that's not what his UK family will call him - and I'm not calling my own son "FAYlix"??! etc etc (not that I like it that much anyway!)

Lovely name Lil. My sister is called Siobhan. There's not that many famous ones to help teachers etc know how to pronounce but people get the hang. (Shi-von). My girl fave is Niamh (neeve). Quite like Malachy for a boy. Sooo want to keep my Irish surname but think it will become a middle name for Rambo.

Lots of BFPs on the TTC thread. Think it's up to 5 for October so far! :T
