Morning. I'm wondering if the vomiting was a one off. I can't figure it out. I couldn't sleep laying down so slept upright for a bit. Feel a bit rubbish this morning - tired mostly. But managed to have a good number 2 (barely went yesterday due to constipation). No sign of more sickness or any diawoowoo. But I do have nasal congestion like I literally got a cold the second I was sick. Weird. Going to try and cup of tea and some toast and see how that goes down. I already had a pint of water in the night.Baby Giz born 6/2/110

Hope you feel better soon giz, I found that with DD if I ate raw onions before I went to bed I would wake up with tummy cramps, heartburn and vomiting. Only other time that has happened to me was when I got heat stroke.
Tigtag babies like to keep their mums and dads on their toes, the tinkers. It may be worth setting aside an hour each day to lie down with an icy drink, or sugary sweets to see if you can get sproglet to cooperate.

Would just like to ask (now that I have a mini-bump that's expanding......) Does anyone's bump seem to get bigger in the evening??
The last few days my jeans seem to be fine in the morning, but by the evening I have to undo a button or 2.......
YesI assume it's all the food I eat throughout the day! Even hubby notices!
How many weeks are you SM?
Thanks TicklepennyMaybe it was some food that simply didn't agree. I also had some chocolate when I came home at midnight then went straight to bed :S Maybe it was that? I'll make a note of what I ate in case it happens again.

Spaghetti Mine did until about 30 weeks, apparently it's ya muscles giving up the will to live by the end of the day :rotfl::rotfl: Now I'm just big bump all the time
They do like to give us something to worry about dont they!!
:grouphug: and appropriate vibes to all
xx
Tigtag, indeed they do, sounds tres worrying. If I went all day without feeling bump I would really really panic, but then it got quite normal with DD, and they did indeed deliver early due to reduced movements (amongst other things).
It's unbelieveable how much more worrying these things are when you're pregnantI've read my book and it says the important thing is to remain hydrated. So I will try and sip lots of water. I'm now wide awake though
Can't get back to sleep so will try and watch some telly to help get me to doze off. Baby is kicking like crazy...don't think he liked the sickness.
Giz I had some gastro thing when I was about 32 weeks, was pretty alarming I remember , only lasted about 2 days but seemed like forever. I was advised so long as I could keep hydrated with water and keep that down, and it didn't go on for more than 3 days, there was no need to panic (yeah right!!)0 -
Just popping in to say hello, Lucas is 10 days old now and feeding like there's no tomorrow - my boobs are getting a bit sore from his near-permanent latching!!
Anyone heard from Gems81... was hoping to see some news on here but couldn't find it :-(
Hope everyone else is keeping well - trust me, it's all well worth it in the end!
Love, hugs & labour vibes to all.

Also looking forward to 20 week scan on 21st but we want to know the flavour so I can start shopping. Much to OH's amusement I have already made my 1st purchase, cow print fleece snow suit from George at Asda its so nice lol.
I have that too tickle, isn't it gorgeous?
Can't beleive your 20 week scan is so late, i'm not due til 7th march but have my scan 2 days before you (although i already know ours is a boy)
I was thinking about Gems too, hope she is ok.
Labour vibes today for people wanting the 10/10/10 as the birth date. xx:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

jojo I had my 12 week appointment at 14+1 lol They arent too good at sticking to timings around here. I have been waiting 6 weeks for a physio referral to come through.... still waiting lol. To be honest as long as I do get an appointment I am not too bothered about when it is.
Also looking forward to all the scan pics that will be on show that weekDS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

Morning!
Sorry to hear you're not feeling good Giz, hope the breakfast went down ok!
I'm 21+4 today. I live in a couple of pairs of "boyfriend" style jeans and really hate anything that's tight. I dispensed with the belt on the jeans a couple of weeks ago and letting a few buttons go by the evening is something from the last few days.... (I have a real builder's bum by the end of the day!:o)
Not had much luck finding maternity trousers I like.. but the week after next a friend of mine - who has just started a personal shopping business - is taking me out for an afternoon of "soulshopping".
I had to do a questionnaire for her - so she now has her brief (skinflint MSE expanding pregnant lady etc). But actually I don't mind to spend a bit of money if something is really nice and especially if I can still wear it when the bump is gone!
Also, (posted a while back about worsening varicose veins) - midwife sent me off to get the special support tights..... which I'm quite afraid of... but maybe I have to wear skirts instead of jeans..:eek:0 -
However, as this was my 3rd admittance for reduced movement (coupled with the Dr's obvious shock when I said I could go all day without feeling baby) I have to have a scan early next week to check growth, fluid levels and blood flow which has sent OH into a blind panic
Hugs, sure it will all be OK.hngrymummy wrote: »I have the added fun of synaesthesia, which makes baby names even harder. Nope, can't have that name, it's the wrong colour!
What colour is Eve? Saffron (gotta be yellow?) and Emma??Hi!
I've been lurking around on here but never posted until now, thought it about time to introduce myself. I am Janine, married to Chris, both 25 years old and expecting our first child on 25/02/11, so we were at the halfway point yesterday. Got our next scan on 22/10, looking forward to seeing baby again although we are keeping the "flavour" a surprise for delivery day.
Welcome Janinie!
sammy congrats on the job, WTG:T:T:T:T:T:TPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
