Thanks Dusty - don't have them near me but will try and make a detour one day if Meadowhall is no good.

Looking at your list - do you need a steriliser for the bottles? Also, how many newborn/0-3 vests and sleepsuits are you getting?

yes it's on Lillian. My friend is giving us her closer to nature set with bottles, steraliser, teats etc. Just remembered a couple of dummies (in case of energencies of course :)) and a grooming kit - ebay again.

Erm, do I need to take bottles, formula to hospital with me, just in case baby doesn't take to my bangers?

Dusty, check with your midwife. I think some hospitals provide and others don't.

Dusty - do you need a comfy chair for the nursery? We don't have anywhere to sit upstairs other than our bed. Even though bubs will be in our room for the first few months it will be good to have somewhere to go if the baby won't settle at night...save disturbing OH.

23 weeks today...must admit I'm loving being pregnant this week...all previous pregnancy niggles seem to have disappeared and I've just been left with a lovely round wriggly bump...enjoy it while it lasts eh!

Thanks - hadn't spotted it at the end of the feeding bit!

I've bought a couple of formula cartons to take with me just in case, I'm happy to combination feed anyway if needs be so they'll come in handy at some point.

Thanks Claire - our spare bedroom will become the nursery but we are leaving our spare double bed in there. I go in there when OH is snoring. OH works nights so we aren't really in bed together until weekends (hence TTC for 12 months :)). I'll just get on there if I need to at weekends.

Congrats on getting to 23 weeks. There's a right baby boom on at the mo. Loads of my FB friends have announced new arrivals. Plus celeb world are at it too.

Have you seen this - I am 14 weeks too - why don't I look like her???

  • I've added the baby bath to appease my mother, she is giving us my old one so it won't cost anything. If I don't like using it though she is having it back :)

You can always soak your washing in it!!

If you take some you will be tempted to give up too early...

Wowee you guys are organised. I'm not buying anything except a new cot mattress and some new baby vests/sleepsuits.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Bump?!? what bump?!? Thats a normal stomach imo!!
Console yourself with the fact that if there is any form of bump there then it'll mostly be due to constipation:p:rotfl:
