nothing to be jealous of lilac, it was much better with the other two when it also was never high but never low either cos the dizziness really isn't fun, sometimes you just feel funny and don't know why. Still its not an issue like high blood pressure and I've never passed out from it being low just been reminded to slow down a few times, especially at work.

Another plus all the pain I was experiencing early on in the foof area seems to have settled down, not sure if its because I'm am taking things mega easy. No more walking to pick the boy up at lunchtime etc. Last week after a bad day when he had a major tantrum (very unusual, I could count on one hand the number of times he has and is always at the worst times lol) and I ended up half carrying him and half dragging him to pick DD up from school then barely being able to walk that evening for work (which was luckily a quiet evening) I decided I had to give up the middle school run and it seems to have done me the world of good. Still get the pain but its quite mild at the moment and after tonight there is only 2 more weeks at work so hopefully it'll not get worse.

Got my growth scan tomorrow at 11:40 and there is no one who could pick DS up for me at 12 so need to have a word with his teacher today and see if they want me to pick him up early/ late or just keep him home that day. Don't think they will be too impressed but he could always do a whole day, there are so many mums I know who would be quite happy to pick DD and DS up for me at 3pm but I don't know any of the mums in Shauns class and can't ask DD ones to go in at lunchtime when they wouldn't normally.
  • Is this your first though? I had booking bloods done about 2 years ago with DD2 and I wasn't going to have half of the vials taken again so they're probably not too bothered about it... I know I'm not...

I'm not bothered either. Bloomin vampires!!

BP looks very low - do you think its worth checking with MW?

It's not unheard of for some medics to be unable to work the apparatus properly...and you probably had it done by a nursing auxillary = not a medic.

Do you have twins already or is that this time??? (sorry if I'm slow it's been a while since I've "seen" you.)

One is 7 and one is 3, so pg x2 in first month after stopping pill:o
    Third time not so easy!

I would definatly recommend the RLT as within 4 pushes, she was out. Fantastic!
I've been quite cr&p taking that recently - think I can get away with binge-drinking it -say 3 tea bags in one cup?

I still have evil foof pain too, Merfe - esp when getting out of bed, putting trousers on etc.. but if I sit down for too long it gets worse.

As for those sweep instructions:rotfl::rotfl::eek::eek:, I'm going to print a copy for OH, leave it in his book as a bookmark and if he's game, we'll try and play find the dimple.

    Morning ladies,

those sweep instructions look horrific. I can just imagine OH's response if I asked him.

I'm starting to feel bit more relaxed about this whole baby thing now. Spent all of yesterday afternoon doing my list of everything I need, what we are getting as presents, what we are being given second hand and what we want to get new. Added shops prices too....I'm a taurus so organised to the very end. Feeling slightly more prepared now and cannot wait to buy our things.

Was feeling all chuffed with myself until I emailed it to my mum to show her what a big girl I am, and she rang me straight away to say I was missing a baby bath. Well i haven't decided how I am going to bath the baby yet so hadn't put it on purposedly but gggrrrrrrrr  she annoyed me. I cannot talk to her about anything baby related at the mo without her getting my back up.

Anyway, rant over. Any news from Gems? Hope she is having her baby cuddles now.

    Congrats Red Rose

Hi all, I am long time lurker - due blue bump on 10th December. Just a quick question about RLT and arnica etc - when can I start taking them - I know someone (Xmaslolly76) did a list of what to take at how many weeks etc but cant seem to find it by searching. xx

TitchD & slightly added you both to the above list :D
Slightly RLT is mixed...ask in Holland & Barratt and they'll tell you from 32 weeks onwards, my midwife said from 36 weeks but start with a MINIMUM of 3 cups per day....personally I started with 1 cup a day from 32 weeks and have increased it by a cup a week from there:)
Arnica - Take a few days before birth...easy if you're having a planned section but if not start as soon as possible whether its from due date assuming bubs hasn't arrived by then or as soon as you start to think something is gonna happen:)

I think I panicked DH last night:o I had really really really bad period type pains, all the way around my stomach & back and down my legs etc.. so much so I couldn't get up the stairs....he was starting to flap until I did the BIGGEST bottom burp EVER:eek: and it was mostly relieved:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: His face was a picture:D I was pmsl for god knows how long :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:
    [STRIKE]Car Loan = £0[/STRIKE] CCCS Total = £30,246.88 Total Debt Paid off - 32.78%
DFD [STRIKE]Nov[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sept[/STRIKE]Aug 2018:o Only 75 payments to go:)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I have regigged the order of my maternity notes, they are in a little folder but with my laminated birthplan at the FRONT of the folder.
A midwfiery student i know admitted they don't actually pay any attention to birthplans when your in labour ..... hmm well cant miss mine!

In nice big red letters it goes a little something like this

    Birth plan A

    Home water birth
    G&A

    Plan B

    Hospital water birth
I refuse point blankly to lie down for monitoring (I know you can do mobile monitoring, please don't fob me off)
No episiotomy, No forceps, No vontous.

If you feel intervention is a must then I will be requesting a C-section.

May sound harsh but after 2 pretty crappy labours of near constant being strapped to a bed, ignored, 3 attempts with the sucky sucky cap and a sadistic midwife I aint taking no bull on this one!

    Good Morning Ladies,

Lauren - that is one short but sweet birth plan!! How are things with OH? Did you get things sorted out?

Fuzz - what is Arnica and what does it do?

Dusty - well done on being organised with a list. I still get palpitations when I go into Mothercare. I should do a list of some sorts I think.

    Legs - lucky OH!!!!!

Catw0man - (((hugs))) - hope you feel better soon

I'm off to take doggie for walkies. Will have to put his coat on as its peeing down here. Then I'm off to the hospital for bloods and then going to see a man about a job! Could do with a day in bed really.

Hope you all have a good day x

Oooh, I hope Gems is having mummy cuddles now :)
