    Milo about 30 minutes old.

By the way, I'm just going to brag that I'm enjoying a nice glass of wine which I couldn't stand whilst pregnant! Oh, and Milo is 15 days old and I've just tried my pre preg jeans on and they fit (OK , a little tight but they fasten!)

Milo is fabulous, and that is something to brag about!

My next purchasing dilemma is a mattress. Anyone got any tips on how to choose one? They seem to vary so much in price.

With DD2 I got the cheapest from mothercare, its not very green but we are supposed to get a new mattress for each baby, something to do with S.I.D.S.

Been on the web and it really is a mine field. OH is 6'3" and I am 5'2" so we need to find a pushchair/pram we can both push, although i suspect it will be hardly touched by OH!!! We plan to head to the Glasgow pram centre as I am led to believe it is pretty huge with all sorts of makes/models etc so you can test them.

We have a Quinny buzz, handles are adjustable, and they come right down short, and made in Holland so right for tall people.

That puppy is sooo gorgeous tink is it a choccy lab? We are getting one in feb when I start mat leave.

And tigtag thanks for the help with day of maternity leave starting, that's half the cost of a puppy saved:T

eta tink hope your DH is a vet and not some random experimenter on pregnant doggies:rotfl:

MV I find it just plain painful when I'm pregnant, I don't think I'm drier down there what with all the extra discharge (nice), but with all the extra blood pumping I think I get a bit swollen and more sensitive than normal. Sorry TMI. It always been fine a couple of weeks after baby is born though so hopefully this time is the same. OH will quite happily remind me there are other ways to please him but quite frankly I'm mostly too tired, sorry OH.
  • It's so annoying! As you say MERFE, an abundance of gooeyness when it's not wanted, and then when it is....nada!

  • Morning ladies..TMI question coming up...has sanyone found things a little...erm..'dry' down there when trying to BD?

OH and I havent done the do for soooo long, and this morning we were getting jiggy and just couldn't complete the task so to speak.

    Disappointing really...:(

Im 21 weeks and we have to use KY as DH says theres friction but I havn't noticed :o

  • OH and I haven't even tried to dtd since I got my bfp. To be honest I'm not that bothered as when we did the last time I was pregnant I thought it felt weird. OH keeps hinting about us giving things a try but am a bit worried about it all now - my boobs are stupidly sore atm and the last thing I want is someone fondling them!

    Welcone anm :)

  • hi coming out of lurkdom to say congratulations to all the new mummies and their gorgeous babies, although think there havent been enough pics (:D)

Also a quick moan, DD is 16 months and for the last 4 months has been sleeping from 7pm to 7am after I implemented a crying down technique. But now for the last 10 days she wakes up for milk once or twice during the night from anywhere between 1.30am and 4.30am. I know she is teething so do I just assume she is having a growth spurt as well?

will also be posting my moan on the parents thread :D I am just tired hormonal and starting to struggle.

  • TeeHee. Sproglet is having a good wriggle, so I'm feeling movement accross my whole tummy right now. Been quite quiet the rest of the day so I guess s/he's making up for it now.

DH is still outside in the rain putting the roof on the shed. I have been making him bacon butties though, so I don't feel too guilty.

Anyone else got an appointment with Obstetrics? I got a letter through the post telling me I have an appointment. I'm not sure if that's standard or becase I've been put on consultant care for now.

Forgot to make an appointment with my Dr for my 21 week check. Is it important? Does it matter if I just miss it out as I have a 24 week MW anyway?

    Thanks
