I was thinking of getting this for my mum for when she has the baby. Has anyone any opinions on it? There is also a code (you have to add something to make it over £50) for £10 off TDX-RTHK.

I have had a letter come through telling me I have an appointment with obstetrics the week after my 20 week scan and I am not sure why. I am assuming it is because my BMI was slightly over 35 (the joys of being a dumpy 4ft 11"
) I am going to check with the midwife when I go on Tuesday if this is what it is about. To be honest she didn't seem that bothered about my weight when I went for my booking in as she said my BMI was elevated because of my height and there isn't much I can do about that part.
I have read that it can mean you get extra scans if you are under obstetric care which is fine by me

DH and I finally made a start on the junk room that is the spare room which will be baby's room! We got 4 binbags of junk to go to the dump and 1 binbag to be ebayed/charity. There is still huge amounts to do - but I'm happy we made a start! Oh and I found our house deeds and other important docs that I knew were in there somewhere :rotfl:
I think I'm coming down with a cold. I've developed a sore throat today
Is there anything I can take apart from paracetamol or o I just have to sweat it out. 0 -
Thanks FS. It's reassuring to know it's not unusual. I think I'm under consultant as my BMI is low (always has been, it's just the way I am) and I've had a cyst removed and have fibroids. Ahh well, it just means more time off work, which can't be such a bad thing

I'm a big eeyore fan and they've been in bags since we moved house as theyve had nowhere to go till now
I sold loads last year too! I'm secretly hoping baby won't want to play with my eeyores...then I can keep the tags on
I have a cold and it's horrible. Took honey and lemon (about 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice with some honey to sweeten in hot water). It's nice and sooths the throat. Rest and sleep is the best thing really.Sammy_Girl wrote: »I think I'm coming down with a cold. I've developed a sore throat today

MV we've only done it because we've been off all week DIYing. I'm glad it's done though. One less thing to worry about.
We're off to centerparcs for next week so we can relax and chill after a tough week of hard work. Then I have just 12 more weeks of hell (work) before maternity leave starts. :j I'm really looking forward to handing my letter in when I get back
