Spagetti - gotta love the whole pregnancy freakout. I have never had excruciating pain with veins just the aches. I think you will end up in support stockings by the end of the day.

    Giz - love the nursery

Merfe men just don't get it. I told my hubby this weekend that I think i will wait until the jan sales to buy baby a bouncer seat/swing/somewhere to put it and he was a bit perplexed by the idea. Does he think I will walk about the house with a baby in arms all the time??

Good luck at the doctors spaghetti and don't worry xx Oh and a belated happy birthday for Saturday x

I'm 17+3 and have become a martyr to trapped wind! Last night I was doubled up and if I hadn't known better, I'd have got myself to hospital it was that bad! :( Had it really bad with DD1 and did go to hospital......came away rather embarassed.:o

Loving all the bump, baby and nursery pics! Will get round to posting my pic, which is on a par to when I was full term with DD1:eek:

  • Morning all.

    Congrats on the new arrivals.

We had our scan on Friday (21+2) and everything looks good :T. Baby was sitting in the lotus position...very zen...so we've nicknamed it buddha baby. Didn't get to find out the sex so we will stay team yellow. Will try to get a scan and bump pic up this week...Giz - I'm jealous of your lovely round bump...mine still has a definate B shape...looking forward to my belly button filling out a bit :rotfl:.

Happy belated birthday spaghetti monster. Hope it goes well at the Drs

oxclairexo - Well done on your scan. Did you not what to find out the sex, or was baby hiding his/her bits. Looking forward to the photo :)

hitchins - pic pls!!!! You can't just talk about bumps and no post pics!!! ;)

I'm feeling really poo today - my cold is def getting worse. I've never had honey and lemon before so is it literally just adding honey and lemon juice to a cup of hot water?? Sorry for being such a dunce!

On a happier note, my replacement dishwasher is finally coming today after 6 no months so no more washing up :j

Right, best get dressed and walk the dog. Winter is def on the way :(

Hope you all have a good day x

Oh, and appropriate labour vibes to those that need them - hope we get some more babies soon :)
  • Tablespoon of honey and same of lemon juice Sammy, just see what it's like and alter if needed. Have my sympathies, I've had a bad cough for blooming months, went to docs in August and she gave me Gaviscon, yes that's right, Gaviscon!

Came down with cold 4 week ago, and couple of weeks ago suffered horrendous chest pains, could hardly breath or move, turned out I had bronchitis! 5 days of anti biotics later and I'm fine, no more flipping cough!

Will get OH to take a bump pic later.

For now this is me just hours before going into labour with DD1.

Hi Sammy...sorry you have a cold :( hope you are getting lots of tlc.

I'm in Aberdeenshire and they have a policy of not telling here and it wasn't obvious from the scan. I've gotten used to the idea of it being a surprise now so unlikely to go for a private scan to find out. The way our families are knitting away the baby's doomed to look like a kid from the 1940s anyway regardless of whether it's in baby blue, pretty pick, or lemon yellow. :rotfl:
  • Morning all:) had a busy weekend and think the nesting instinct has kicked in! Spent the whole of yesterday doing proper cleaning and tidying:eek: Dh was bored stupid but I soon got rid of him by buying him a game he wanted:p:rotfl:

Giz - can't believe how organised you are! Nursery looks gorgeous:) Ours just need decs going up but tbh....I might not even do that...bubs aint gonna care:p
Congrats on all new arrivals and I've had a sneaky peak at Rachs Fb photos and thought I'd let you know her baby is gorgeous:D

Loving all the bump pics and wishing I was that small not that I'm huge but not being able to see past the top of my stomach is REALLY annoying when you're trying to catch pee in one of those ridiculously small pots:eek::rotfl: Off to the midwife in an hour for my 34&36wk checks at 35 weeks!!!! I get to miss one coz I'm doing so well *smug*:p:D Managed to finish off labour bags completely and really impressed at how little I've got it down too...even DH commented on how light I'm travelling....he reckons its coz I don't need to make rooms for shoes:o:rotfl:

Hope alls well with everyone else...there was loads I wanted to say as I was skimming through but in typical pg fashion can't remember a darn thing now!:o:)

Appropriate vibes to all in need xx

edit...forgot to add, started to feel my little man kicking on saturday. Was unsure at 1st but it was definate kicking, not enough to feel through my belly but enough for me to feel inside iyswim.
It was after having a double decker, so now i need no excuse to eat chocolate ;-)
