Congrats all the new babies love all the pics
Dream - my delivery midwife for my first was a cow too, she was too busy to do anything for me as she was literally writing up my notes constantly, I'd have loved to have read them must have gone like this:
patient asked for water, told her later I'm writing notes.
patient asked for pain relief, told her later I'm writing notes... etc etc
all I had in my birth plan was that I didn't want to lie down till the very end, so of course she had me strapped to the bed from 3cm for 1 reason or another.
At 14+2 I have quite a big bump about the same size as I had at about 22 weeks with my first:eek: worst part is it's it's not baby it's fat, I think the baby has pushed all the fat out:o:rotfl:AKA: PC
...

:TOoh Thank you! Thank you for the links for the room stickers! Wanted do something fairly easy for the room next door to turn into baby's room, but didn't want anything permanent as am quite sick of diy. Room is mauve/lilac colour, not really a blue baby colour but these these are perfect as they balance it out perfectly. Amazon seem to sell stars, spots or alphabets too.0

Well OH and I have been really productive today and sat for about 3 hours making a list of what we are going to need to buy for bubs in the first instance, comparing prices of everything, reading reviews and putting it all into an exel sheet! :T
OH had an £100 voucher for Amazon that his work gave him as a thank you for doing a big office move over Easter Bank Holiday last year, so we've ordered our baby monitor (gone for the BT 150). Very useful having that bit of extra cash to spend.
I've ordered those wall stickers too Cat. I think they are lovely! Amazon again..can't wait to get on with decorating the spare room. Any spares left over I will give to my sister for her little 'un's room
So at least we are a bit more organised now!
OH is treating me to dinner at one of my fave pan-Asian resturants this evening too, so a good day all round!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
When the list gets updated, can you add a boy image next to me please :-)
The early sexing scan was worth it. It was really clear and got some pics in 3d too, which were a lot better than i expected them to be at just 16+5.
Congrats to all the new births, can't believe how many there are... can't wait to see some pics :-):)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Congratulations to any new mummies that I have missed there are so many at the moment its hard to keep up
Loving all the bump pictures
I can't believe that Tadpole is the size of a naval orange now! I brought some today from the greengrocers and when I put it up to my belly it seems hugeOH chuckled and said "wait until its the size of a watermelon" yes thanks for that
I went to Mamas and Papas and Mothercare today for a look round. Oh my goodness what an absolute minefieldon earth do you know where to start? It was all a bit overwhelming for me I have to say and I felt like a bit of a fraud walking round as everyone else had very noticeable bumps or small babies and I just looked like a flabby woman walking round
I picked up a catalogue so I can look at things at home until after our 20 week scan and can go back and be one of those ladies walking round rubbing their bumps proudly
One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Fairy I agree the first trip to Mothercare is a complete minefield!
You do pick up what's what though, and our exercise earlier in researching loads of stuff has really helped me to understand a bit better what we need and what everything does!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Fairy - I always seem to come out in a sweat when I go to the baby shops - I'm completely out of my depth! My plan is to sort the nursery out first and then when I've got a baby zone I can start getting things to go in it!
MV - Organised lady! Can I have a copy of the list - save me 3 hours:D Enjoy your dinner tonight. Me and DH CBA to go out, just ordered Dominos and will slob in front of the goggle box. I did get quite a bit of housework and gardening done today so I've earned it!
Hope you all have a good evening x0
