Just a small request, can we see more bump shots! Or is there a bump shot thread we can link to the due date list?

My Cow & Gate cuddly toy has just arrived :)

DH and I are making a start on clearing out the nursery today. At the moment it's full of junk/wedding stuff/shoes/handbags/coats etc etc. I feel a big Ebay and dump session coming along!!!

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Eta - Ethelsmum - I can't see the pic but maybe because I'm on my phone. Will try again later. I bet she's a cracker :)

Sam E Bay has free listing this weekend :D

I have been putting some mat clothes bits on

    Hi Lady bumps

WOW baby boom time on here at the moment HUGE congrats and welcome to the world all the beautiful new babies. :j

So I am home alone DD is in town with her boyfriend  DH is at work and I am moping around on my crutches in pain :mad:. This whole bed rest or sitting doing nothing thing is totally doing my head in :o.

I am trying to put some on my maternity clothes onto E Bay it seems I did buy far too many clothes and have just not worn them and as it's a free listing weekend on E bay thought I would make myself useful.

DD is having her New Double bed delivered this weekend which means her room needs SORTING if you have me on Facebook you will seen what a mess it is !

We also have our fab new Brown leather sofa being delivered on MONDAY :j Our front room is looking empty and I am left sitting in the Nursery rocking chair!

This time next week we can start on the Nursey :j I am so Excited I have it all planned and can't wait to start making the bits and the bunting and covers etc :j

  • congratss ethelsmum she is gorge! congrats rach looking forward to a update!

sarah that scan pic is amazing its so clear!

    giz your bump is lovely!!

one thing i will say ladies is dont be quiet. make sure the midwives are listening to you and dont let them palm you off. i had to go to hospital 3 times before they would admit me and after reading my notes either they didnt listen or i didnt make it clear enough about the pain i was in or how many days without sleep i had went. it acutally says contractions in inverted commas on my notes! they didnt wouldnt even do a trace to confirm them.

it left me with a marathon labour which ended up needing a vaccuum delivery. there was no way in hell i was ever going to get the baby out myself considering how tired and doped up i was by the time it got to pushing stage. i just wish they had of listened to me a bit more and i wouldnt be left feeling like i could never go through it again. i just feel like things could have been so much better. on the plus side i did get the must cutest baby in the world so i suppose how he got here doesnt really matter.

wee tip - stock up on some distilled witch hazel to put on your maternity pads it is heaven if you have had stitches. :D

Giz - love the photos! Wow, you can really see the difference a few weeks makes!

GFH - I'm sure that isn't true!! And I'm sure you or DH has got a camera :p

Random question, but I'm looking to get a couple of those miniature type trees for my front garden. The ones in the pots - that don't grow big. But I can't think what they're called to search for them. I want to say Bonsai but I know they're the super small trees. Any ideas????
