    Spoilsport Delain :p
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • hello all

had a lovely friend come to visit this morning she stayed almost 3hrs which was nice to see her and catch up.

got my mamu pack through post and it had some natrucare sanitary towel and breast pad sample, some ginger sweets samples, soap nuts for washing, a variety of different sachets of creams for mum and baby, travel pack of ecowipes, some leaflets, trial size pack of some cereal, an e-cleaning microfibre cloth thing. I think it was worth the £2.50 postage I paid and was interesting to see what came in it - all comes packed in a nice hessian style reusuable bag as well.

Had my 16 week. She did listen to heartbeat, but baby was hiding. She heard it and hubby said he did, but I'm not sure I was hearing the right thing. Either way she was happy with everything. All my bloods came back clear, good iron levels, urine clear, blood pressure good.

I asked about the bounty pack and she was able to give me one.

She booked my 20 week scan for 17th September (I was supposed to have done it at the 12 week one but noone told me...)

Most of you guys won't know but I got an extra consultants appointment in 2 weeks, so I asked her what it was for. Turns out it's because I had 'Fentons procedure' performed. So it's just routine for me to have the extra appointment. At least I might be able to hear the heartbeat properly that time. And at least it's nothing to do with the fact that my mum's first baby died.

She confirmed that there's one pool and if it's in use that is that. I don't know what to do. I guess I have lots of time to think about it. OH and I are going to do the hospital tour in the next couple of weeks as I feel that will help sway me one way or the other.

My size 12 maternity jeans arrived. They fit...but I don't think they'll fit later on. So am going to get some size 14s and then put these back on ebay if/when they get too uncomfy.

How many newborn size 1 nappies be needed? I have the free nappy voucher which will take me up to 81 nappies. Is this too many?

I bought an extra newborn kit a while ago because the box was damaged it was £1.50 so thought it was worth it at the time...not realising I'd be due a free pack of size 1's aswell.

Hi Giz. I never booked my 20 week scan. I was in too much of a state and just wanted to go home and cry some more after the blood test! Maybe I should phone and see??

Just tried to book my 16 week MW appointment. Soonest they can get me in is at 18 weeks. Oh well.

I have to have extra appointments too - fibroids, low BMI and my Dad is diabetic.

  • Delain and Smartie you naughty queue jumpers :rotfl::rotfl:well it has been confirmed that I'm queue jumping too as induction booked in for the 3rd September (38 weeks) - means I have 2 and a bit weeks left at the very longest :eek: Reckon I must have predicted this as my maternity leave will start on the 6 September and annual leave has been timed to perfection and in addition my parents will come back from France on that Sunday, in a lot of ways is perfect :)

Have to keep going back to hospital twice a week to monitor my b/p, urine and bubs as if things get worse then could go in before that. At least can relax until monday as no more appointments at hospital, but have my antenatal classes so will be asking re inductions . .

Soooo many queue jumpers!!! Of course if my little monkey turns I won't be queue jumping and I'll be a good girl:A:p

I was induced with DS and I would say don't worry about it at all:)
