Kat - is it painted?? I kow lead based paint was used as a primer in the early-mid 80's. TBH if its natural wood, strudy enough then I would use it.

Ooooh, I like that one. May have to pinch it :D

Actually, I might have to pinch a scanner first lol

Kataratarina - That's lovely that your parents kept your old cot. I bet it's gorgeous. Sorry I have no idea about bedding etc - except I know you need a new mattress!! Hope you get your answers.

Has anyone else noticed loads of babies on the box - Corrie, Eastenders, Myleene Klass etc etc

Mahogany is a lovely wood. A regular cot ( not cot bed) matress is 117x 54 http://www.saplings.com/Jessica%20Cot.htm on a base that is slightly bigger. so I would imagine regular cot (not cot bed) bedding will fit it no problem

  • Congrats Don and welcome Bronte :)

Have I missed anything else over the weekend?

Just a quick question....we decided not to go ahead with a Nuchal scan, so we'll wait until week 20 for the genders. Is there any other way we can find out sooner? Private if need be.

My cotbed mattress is 69cm x 140cm so bigger than yours. Could you buy flat sheets in that kind of size and tuck in, rather than fitted sheets?
