Morning Lady Bumps
Good Luck to everyone with a scan/check up/appointment today.
So My last working day of this week :j I only have 14 working days left at work :j:D That is the best feeling EVER.
We had a viewing on the house yesterday it's a start just keeping everything crossed that it will find a new owner in the not too distant future.
I feel HUGE today and my bellybutton has poppedI too have a scar from having it pierced but luckly it has been out for nearly a year now since we started TTC so it is not too bad.
I have MW tomorrow to have my bloods done she has booked me an hour long session as I am not good to get blood from and it has to be done as it is already a week late.
Can't believe I am 29 weeks today seems like only yesterday I was on the TTC forum and then on the miscarriage onestrange how life turns out.
Is it me or why does everyone keep asking if I am going to have another????? I haven't even had this one yet!
My house is FULL of PINK!!!! DH has now banned me from buying anymore pink!!!;) We have been given clothes to last bump until she is 2 years old people are so amazing and kind.
Ohhh long post better get off!!
Take care ladies hugs & vibes to anyone in need :AIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Had a busy day yesterday, with both midwife and hospital appointments as well, so just catching up here today.
MV, hope you aren't worrying too much my MW wasn't the slightest bit bothered I hadn't felt a proper kick yet. Everything else was fine, they're just playing a watch and wait game with my Vit B12 levels, although they have only now told me I'm going to have to have the Anti-D jab - anyone else had it here who can tell me what to expect?
Hospital appointment was for 23 week cervical scan - all was fine and healthy so been signed off from them - hooray. Also had fibronection test which was negative so they're 99% sure I won't go into labour in the next two weeks, which puts me beyond the viability point - not that I think he/she shouldn't have some seriously longer cooking time in there - but nice to know.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
I know from time to time there are moans on here about the way us ladies and bumps are treated on public transport, but I thought you might like to hear this story from yesterday which in my mind really takes the biscuit.
While waiting at the hospital for my test results, I am sent back to the ANTENATAL waiting room. As I approach, there’s a man with a heavily pregnant wife in a wheelchair trying to get through the double doors, so I help him by holding open one door. Inside every chair is taken, but one at the end. The man wheels his wife over to there and takes the last seat for himself, leaving me to stand and wait. Now, I’m not huge yet, but surely I’m not standing there waiting to have my ingrown toenails removed!!!!We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Oooh really? I didn't know this. Is it a secret who it is?
It's our wedding anniversary today and OH got to feel baby move my tummy this morning
Merfe I feel so sorry for you having to fast...are you allowed to at least drink water? Well, good luck with the test.
Not a secret There is a thread in money saving arms about it that she posted herself to let everyone know it would be on a few weeks back. The daddy is from MSE too I believe. She was the older 1st time mum who had the little boy at 28-29 weeks. Sad thing is, I can remember the update threads last august about the baby being born and how he was doing and stuff and he's now 1. His mum is calle Tigseroonie or something similar.
I found it a bit tear inducing because you see threads about ill kids and babies and you post saying the usual hope everything goes well or hugs or somthing rather than nothing but this time the baby was on a TV program too and we saw him in an incubator with the tubes etc. I found it a bit emotional.

M-it-3 - glad all went well with the MW
I'm not too worried about my appointment this afternoon, just want a bit of reassurance that all is well.
So how far are you now?
I think the man who took the last seat deserved a kick in the danglies. How rude. The amount of men who just hide behind their newspapers on the trains when a heavily pregnant woman gets on astounds me.
My little boy will be brought up with manners and the grace to stand up if someone neds a seat more than he does.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

I'm 23 weeks tomorrow. So glad to be having a little break from medical appointments, next one is regular midwife check in a month's time when I get my HIP grant form - yeah!
Although I've renamed it the Fashion in Pregnancy Grant as I blew it all yesterday buying my first bits of maternity clothes. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
I do wonder whether some people are just embarrassed to offer in case the pregnant woman is just fat...although M-i-3, you would think your location would have given the game away

Although I'm happy to be getting the grant, I do see why the Government is scraping it. If they really wanted us to use it to buy fruit & vegetables or join an exercise class they should have given out vouchers rather than cold, hard cashWe Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0
