    Hi Giz,

I had a little bleeding at 22, 23, 24 & 25 weeks. I could feel movements like you and had scans and I had to have an examination to make sure everything was as it should be. The hospital could not find any reason for the bleeding and said that some women just get a little bleeding and to try not to worry. I'm 31w3d today and had a midwife appointment and everything is looking normal (BP, urine, fundal measurements & heart rate). Try not to worry. I was told if it is only a little and not accompanied with any pain or cramps, everything is probably fine.
Thanks CL. You read about these things happening to other people, but I never really realised how worrying it is until today. Discharge was looking clear tonight. Hope midwife doesn't think I'm wasting her time :s I worry too much.
My mum has brought a snow suit for bubs hngry. It's in newborn size and I reckon it'll be plenty big enough for a new born. Not sure how much more wear he'll get out of it though!

Off to my pregnancy yoga class. I'm really knackered and could do with having to go out again, but I do feel better after a class + it may help with my achy hips.
I bought a newborn snowsuit, supposedly up to 10lb. I wanted it as the leaving hospital outfit and mum has said if baby is bigger than 10lb she'll go and swap it for the next size up (assuming they still sell them then).
Will be thinking of you tomorrow Giz.

I'm sure all will be well xx

    Thanks MV.

  • Giz, the midwife won't think you're wasting their time... They'd rather you went to them and not have a problem than sit at home worrying about something...

I bled at week 11, and from 13-17 with Caitlyn and had a couple of emergency scans that showed no problems with the baby... This time I had some spotting at week 14... I wasn't too concerned because I wasn't in pain and it wasn't flowing heavily... The midwife was happy that it was nothing to be concerned about...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Thanks MV and Giz. I'll keep my eye out for cute things.

I hope everything goes ok at the MW tomorrow Giz.

Sproglet doesn't seem to appreciate me slouching. There's a lot of fidgeting going on. I think he gets it from DH - he can't keep still for 2 minutes, which isn't great for me first thing right now, as too much movement in the morning makes me sick :(. He's getting a bit better now, after a few days where I ended up with my head in a bucket.

Fingers crossed that the Dr gives me a new prescription for my tablets.

  • Just been to a tour of the hospital I'll be in - not sure what I was expecting, but the delivery rooms (& the rest of the place) were really cold, clinical places & I've really gone off the idea of going there. I'm supposed to be induced at 38 weeks and hate the thought of spending hours (days?) in there, let alone all the other stuff that labour/induction involves.
Is this just me? When it comes down to it does it not really matter? I'm just feeling really freaked out by it all and dreading everything now...
  • Hope all goes well tomorrow MV and Giz :) am sure you'll boh be fine but it's always best to get things checked if you are worried at all.

Just watched "Cherry has a Baby" which I recorded the other night, cried most of the way through it - reallyi enjoyed it though and loved hearing all the different stories.

Not much going on am in that inbetween appointments stage again *yawn* these are always the bits that drag for me.

I'm so glad you wrote this. We did our tour a couple of weeks ago and I feel the same. I'm guessing when you're in labour you won't care. I'm hoping to be able to leave ASAP. They said you can leave after 6 hours of baby being born...basically after them seeing you feed baby a few times. Trying not to get my hopes up about this though incase things don't go as planned.

I'm glad I'm not on my own (not that I want other people to be freaked out, but you know what I mean...). Am really hoping that once in labour it doesn't matter - less than 2 weeks until induction now so I'll let you know :-)
