  • Thanks all. I cannot decide what is going on but it seems to be quietening down again, so I think I am just going to go to bed as my mood might be making it worse :o

  • Crazytink that is so rare! Did you know that sailors pay stupid amounts for "unbroken" waters as it is supposed to be good luck. The weird world we live in.

I know i had never heard of it before it happened to me, they kept saying oh think we'll get a pop anytime now and it never happened, very strange, OH said it was like he was born in a little bubble, the midwife just ripped it open once he was out. Have been told that it can mean he has a sixth sense and that he would be a good fisherman and would never drown. Dont know about the sixth sense but he has an amazing memory, we drove past a pub today that OH had picked me up from after being at a funeral over a year ago and he noticed it and said remember daddy picked you up in the car there mummy when you went to the pub (not the best memory for him i know lol) he's only 4 and a half x

  • Re. question about waters breaking. Mine never broke in my recent birth of DS. Midwife said when she went to give me internal, she said she could see the head, and after he was born said he was still in the sac and popped it with her finger when she was checking me. She said if it hadn't popped I'd have been in labour a little longer than I was.

Here's a few pics of baby Oliver I promised.

bed for me soon, baby has been moving much more tonight so I feel happier. :) If we all manage to get up and sorted I'll be seeing Sir M and little Thomas tomorrow.

I've noticed on FB another lady has had her baby, but will let her come on herself and report!

waters have to break before I go into labour? I assume I am just getting stronger BH, as it feels really wrong tonight.

DD1 they cut the sac at transition because it was bulging out of me and they were green and yuk. So nope you could be in labour without waters going.

I hope your mum recovers well from her scare.

    Morning all.

How funny - there was a lady at my yoga class yesterday whose waters didn't break either, I'd never heard of it before!

Horse - Oliver is beautiful, I think you have the same changing mat as me ;)

My back is killing me :( I used to get it a lot before I was pregnant where I would just feel it "go" when I bent down strangely and now I can't get rid. Rubbish x

@emsy - Sorry you're not allowed a waterbirth. Did they say why?

5 more working days for me and I've got 2 weeks holiday :D mostly to finish off DIY before baby arrives, but we also have 4 nights at Center parcs which I'm really looking forward too.
