It's a mamas and papas, but I can't tell if it's plastic or card in the bit that makes it a circle. OH thinks it's plastic cos it's too springy to be card. I worry the spinning might ruin the circle bit.

Ah right Giz, I realised on mine that I can take the little hanging bits off the plastic so they will go through the wm, but mine is like this one

hope you can sort it, it's so disappointing when stuff is not how you expect

Hi everyone
Well I have a baby girl, Emily Violet, 10lbs 7oz, born on 7/9/10 at 3:16am, via emergency C Section.
We went in hospital on 6/9/10 at around 10:30am.
I'll write all the details down in a proper story probably tomorrow, but please don't get scared by it.

I can tell you all she definately isn't the shy and retiring type, currently managing to breastfeed, but the midwives offered a top up feed last night, so so tempted but said I'd carry on trying. even my post natal notes say I was totally exhausted

I would take the hanging bits off and either put them on a delicate wash or hand wash them. You could try a flannel dipped in warm water then rubbed on some soap to the rub the circle bit, without over wetting it keep going over it and it should come clean.
