depends MV, it might be just enough to last you till it gets warmer, depends partly on how big baby is, how quickly it grows and when the weather warms up next year. I got mine before I got the pushchair I wanted and I wasn't expecting to get the matching cosy toes but now I have I think a snow suit and cosy toes might be a bit much except in the coldest wether so baby might only wear it when I use the baby carrier.0

It certainly does! I knew at 4 weeks too and I think that's what has made it seem FOREVER for me. I've literally been pregnant all year! 2 weeks to go if we get that far. Contractions still starting/stopping - does anyone know how long I could be at this stage for? It's so miserable being in kind of pain all the time I don't feel well but I don't feel like the pain is progressing or moving anything on either ...
DB we're now 3rd discounting overdues!!!! :beer:Bellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -
Fuzz - so pleased for you and your friend, what great news!!:D:D
Courgette - hugs to you, sorry you're feeling so down, hope it starts naturally for you before tomorrow but if not hope the induction goes smoothly. Just think about meeting your baby:D
Re iron tablets - I would suggest trying them first as they're on prescription, and I haven't had any side effects on mine (no constipation) so you're not guaranteed to be affected by them.
I'm 40 weeks today!:D:eek: Still get occasional cramps but not often enough for me to be thinking "is this it?". Just been to the mw earlier who told me to get walking and bouncing on my ball whenever I get the cramps. I admit I've been using my ball but not walking so I'll try to do that daily now. And she also booked my induction for 21st sept!! so if he doesn't come before then I know I'll be having a baby in 12 days - its all seeming very real now! I'll also have a sweep in 40+7 and 40+9 - so hoping baby comes before then.0 -
MV thats cute:) the one we've got is in the old range of petit bebe I think..MSE and all that;):) cant find a piccie but the hood does have ears on
we got it in 3-6 months I think coz I have a feeling bubs is gonna be big plus I figure for the 1st few weeks any outings will be minimal and probs by DH only so by time bubs is ready to go out newborm/0-3 would be too small. and also who cares if it's a bit big..bubs willbe nice and snug and I know it'll last all winter:D Especially if its a cold one that lasts til end of march:cool:

Fuzz: that's great news about your friend *fingers crossed* your mum gets the all clear too
Really hope the same happens for Courgette as did to me; she books her induction and goes into labour naturally, but hopefully more naturally than me. I had my waters popped, I wasn't keen but I knew baby needed out and my waters didn't seem to want to go naturally.
Hope everyones ok
Right back to lurking being as I'm no longer pregnant! (but missing this forum loads!)0 -
Lilac i've got the bugaboo chameleon i got it second hand on ebay for the extremely bargain price of £150 and it's pretty much immaculate.
I love it i got it in red with the carrycot etc.
I love the fact that you can have baby facing either way and also the two wheel option for on the beach(which we do a lot of) or on the snow (hoping not too much of) i'm pretty sure the gecko will be the same but obv it's the newer model HTH xxxI don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Kitkat i was wondering today how you were!
lovely pramsuits, I have a snowsuit a lady gave me on freecycle, says newborn but it's massive...may have to buy a cuter one once we know the sex though!
DTD with DH this aft (this is what happens when they shut the forum!) obviously accomodating my SPD, but was nice to be close! Had a snooze for an hour too, feel like hibernating! Am a little sick of DH's new game already but as he's got the day off and I'm unable to go anywhere I can't really complain!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Awww, I love that snowsuit MERFE
And yours too MV - they are so cute aren't they?
I find myself in places like Mothercare squidging them because they're so snuggly
I've got this one LINKY in newborn size so suspect Flump won't get too much wear out of it other than coming home from hospital, but I'm planning on getting a bigger one once we know the flavour, to last for the rest of the winter.

Quick Q-does anyone have experience of Night Nannies? Significantly, if they are expected to have their own room?0
