  • dreambirdie - I hadn't realised that!! I must start taking it now!! I did take it for the first few weeks, and then thought I would leave it for a while - but must get straight back on - NOW!!! do not need low iron on top of everything else!!

So excited though - have agreed to buy a pram off someone on Gumtree - its an Emmaljunga (have always coveted one and would never pay the price :o) complete with carry cot and car seat. Lady tells me she has barely used the pram, it is immaculate and it certainly looks it in the photo - not able to collect it till sunday because it is over 100 miles away! desperate to get it now - whole thing was £300 which was my budget :T, do think anyone will notice if I start pushing it around now - empty :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
    DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz

    DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

  • you should try and get a prescription for it some doctors wont give it because it is expensive but 2 girls out of my work got it on prescription, might be worth a try? im busting to push my pram around aswell, cant wait to finally use it, although im in a bad mood with it at the moment. took it out a few nights ago to practice putting it up and down and changing from carrycot to car seat etc and it was soooo stiff(prob just because its new) i got so frustrated with it i could have cried!
  • oh Dream how frustrating! it probably is because its new - mine should be well lubricated - LOL once you get it sussed out it will probably be a doddle! What pram did you get? I had planned to get a new OBaby Zezu and a cabriofix car seat, which would have come in at about £300 so am sooooo delighted to get what I have - never dreamed I would get the whole thing, you will get to push your pram waaaaaay before me - I am not due till January (so hope I don't have to be c sectioned - other wise will be aaages before I get to push!! we live up a hill - I don't think I would be fit for pushing up hill). Got my pram in black so now I NEED to know the flavour so I can get pink or blue blankets!! Just have to persuade DH that he wants to know too!!
