Congratulations Eviesmummy! :D:j:T Hope you can post a pic for us.

I want caramel shortbread now :D

My OH is lovely - I got a pressie today - a camera!!:D:D He made a comment about documenting the labour:eek::eek: But was joking - not that I'd have allowed it if he was serious!

I can get bored/lonely on my own all day, and whilst I'm lucky that my OH doesn't go out on the town he does work overnight shifts (like tonight) so I've been on my own since 9.30 this morning and won't see him till tea-time tomorrow. I can't complain as we need the money and the work fits in with his uni course (tho I still manage to moan every so often!). This last week his DDs were here which was nice to have the company but they've gone back to their mum's now, and even though they're back next week its back to normal school hours.

If you think of a question to ask the midwife, write it on a post it and stick it inside your green notes... Then it's there next time you see someone... :)

I found my notes... Behind the sofa... With £10.50 worth of clubcard points...

I always used to have a million and one things to moan about but as soon as she asked how I was I'd go "yeah fine..." lol... Mind you, on the days I did complain about stuff she just wrote "no concerns" in the notes anyway... Didn't seem much point saying anything lol...

  • I think that everything that can go wrong is going to go wrong for me this time! Age is against me, weight is against me, past delivery history is against me, MS has been terrible and is still not gone (although not to Hngrymummy's level (really feel for her!)) - just waiting and expecting for all thigs to hit!!! I breezed through the last 2 pregnancy's waaaay to easily!

2GFM - I was relying on you to feel better, as I know I'm a week behind you, so should be a week behind in feeling better!!

I feel for anyone with any kind of MS! I'm still going with it. I'm somewhere between utterly fedup and resigned to it :p Not yet decided if I'm working at home tomorrow or not. I don't want work to think I'm taking the mick, but at the same time I can't spend all day nipping out to the loo. Couldn't even take my anti-sickness tablet this morning. I looked at it and heaved

I feel I ought to keep my MS a little quiet for fear of scaring off newbies.

I really hope they forget about my GTT. Fasting will make me sick, as will drinking a sugary drink.

On the plus side, my friend said that you get one of three - a bad pregnancy, a bad labour, or a bad baby. I'm getting mine sorted already then ;)

    Sick-free wishes to everyone.

  • Congratulations KK on baby Theo, love the name and he is so cute!

Congratulations Eviesmummy on baby Oliver, that's the name we have picked for this one if its a boy!!

Congratulations MOTM on your twins, double trouble.

    Sorry if I've missed anyone.

Sorry haven't been around much, haven't been good, too many hormones, too many hospital appointments (7 in one week) and too much going on at home (one cat died and found out the other one has been abused by some child).
But I seem to turning the corner now and hospital appointments have settled down and the next one I have is in 3 week time at my 20 week scan all being well with triple test and recent bloods.

    Take care ladies and bumps

Wow, that's a giant foot!!! lol... You should paint it green and pretend it's Shreks...

Nice bump though, lovely and neat :)

hngry, don't worry too much about GTT at this stage... They generally don't giveit until 28 weeks and I'm sure you'll be better by then :) Also, it's not compulsory... :)

Your feet look like mine dream! Horrid isn't it! Nice bump though.

So Bunny, are WE in labour yet? I have the back ache and period like pains too now, though I think mines due to trapped wind.:(

    congrats on baby Oliver, Eviesmummy.
