I feel like im becoming such a moaning wife, he works so hard and only really goes out once or twice every 2 weeks, he used to drink alot but the last 2 times he has been home by 11/12 and not in to bad of a state. I think im just jealous of him going out and having fun when i havent been out of the house in days.Baby No.1 due 27/9/10

Congratulations Eviesmum
Look at all those boys born now... It was all girls a couple of weeks ago lol...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hello! Have decided to de-lurk for a random post! I have now been off work for 2 weeks and I am so glad I did - PGP/SPD has gotten much worse so I have been really glad of a chance to keep still and not be so sore!
I have lost track of all the new arrivals but congrats to everyone! It really cheered me up to read about all of them and to see piccies! Hi to any newbies I may have missed (not unusual as I seem to have cotton wool for brains these days!)
MOTM - congrats on the scan news - that's fantastic.
Smartie - I'm glad your results are good.
Rach - glad work is nearly done and hope you get evrything handed over tomorrow. Also hope the SPD settles down a wee bit for you when you are off. That commute would finish me off!
Dream - how are doing? Are you nearly finished work?
Tinks - hugs to you. I hope you're ok. Onviously don't know anything about what you have gone through but have a bit of an inkling - sounds a wee bit familiar - have had a few eating problems in the past so can imagine. Am very willing to be a sounding board if you need one (even though I am a random internet stranger!)
I have my 35 week appointment at the hospital tomorrow - have no idea what that entails but DH and I then get to spend a day together (which doesn't involve DIY of any sort!) which will be nice. I can't believe I only have 4.5 weeks to go. That's a little scary!0 -
Congrats Eviesmum :j0

gems im the same im pure jealous every time he goes out! he just tells me i can go out after i have the baby, but il doubt il be in any state to make it out for a drink for a while!
nepthys - i finish on tues! i cant wait. sorry to hear your SPD is bad, after reading this thread ive counted my lucky stars i got away with that one! i had my 35 week appointment 2 weeks ago, i dont know why but it was with the consultant instead of midwife - mine is dr mcfaul, he was very grumpy :rotfl:its just the same as any other hospital appointment, they check your blood pressure, do urine check, then a quick scan to check what position baby is in, the scan isnt great as you cant see a thing! hope you arent waiting long, my appointment was for 9.00 and i didnt get seen until after 10! i was ready to go ballistic! so make sure u have a mag or something with you incase u get bored. hope all is ok ad make sure to come on and let us know how u got on!0 -
Thanks Dream - i was wondering how you got on! Thaty's rubbish your appointment was so late. Mine is for 9 as well - DH will be well annoyed if it is really late. May have to promise him a KFC lunch as compensation (and then i get one too!). I don't think it matters what the scan shows for this one - it wriggles something shocking so fully expecting it to change position a lot in the next few weeks! Wonder if mine will be with the consultant as well - think mine is Dr Boyle. I'll let you know how I get on - promise!
and yayy for nearly finishing work!0 -
i dont know why i saw the consultant but i got the impression it was probs just because they were so busy. he didnt do anything different to what the midwife does. and make sure to ask questions! mine just sort of rushed through everything and i came out thinking "what just happended?" then of course on the way home i thought of lots of stuff i had wanted to ask lol! oooh you have put me in the mood for a KFC now. think i may have to treat myself to one tomorrow!
any ladies getting stretchmark pains? i only have 2 so far :j but the whole underneath of my bump feels like the skin is going to rip apart  and ive just put some tan on so i cant plaster myself in bio oil tonightits really uncomfortable feel like this bubs is trying to rip himself out
