Tinks i am so sorry you are struggling with unsupportive family, a virtual hug to you, and as everyone has said rant on here as much as you need.
I had my 28wk MW appointment yesterday, bubs measuring perfect and i feel great. I had my bloods done as well, but it took 4 attempts!!! Oh well, then when i got to work today i missed a call on the mobile from the docs, saying they have reviewed my bloods and could i come in immediately to sort out starting Iron tablets immediately!! Oh well so much for feeling great, now i am told i am not great. I have tried to speak to them but it was engaged and now they are closed for lunch, so will call later and leave early if they are that worried, but not sure there is anything to worry about really. Apart from feeling tired at the end of the day, i have no issues what soever! And i know how lucky i am ladies and really feel for all of you with SPD and other issues.
Right back to lurking and working
Hugs to all who need themLeopardlady

Hassle I'm still overdue, did tell you I'd take as many people with me as possible.
Been having crampy period type pains and some backache, what do you all reckon possibly lead to something? they don't hurt too much just crampy.
From what I have read (no experience as am on 1st), yes this can lead to something. But dont quote me on it!
If they do lead to something, can you continue to take me with you as I want this baby before Tuesday as its my birthday.;)0 -

I bet it doesn't have the same effect as Aftershock! Look forward to it, the joys of pregnancy aye!
Btw - whether you're hormonal or not, your OH was out of line telling your mum you've accepted the offer when you haven't even discussed it. Hold out there, buyers rarely go it with their maximum price first off.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -

I think the clearing out of things is the most therapeutic:) - I've spent the last week or so moving a few books/papers at a time from work to home and it's made me feel much better about being there, knowing there's an end in sight :T
Hope you manage to relax on mat leave - I have 3 days left in the office (finish next Friday) and am trying to get most things done before so I can do as little as possible once I'm off!0 -
This is what happens when you go to Pizza Hut for the buffet!! Was a size 10 when I went in;)

sorry ladies - I have been lurking again for a while!! still feel shy - even though I don't actually know any of you!!
Congrats to all the ladies who have delivered - Kitkat was lurking avidly to hear from you - LOL. I love the name Theo too!
MV - I had the GTT done about 3 or 4 weeks ago and it was fine, although I felt terrible that day MS was bad and I am convinced it was because of the fasting. I had a sandwich in my bag with me for afters, but I felt awful again for days and the MS had been starting to abate at that point. My result came back quite high at 8.3, not quite diabetes which is 9.1 but bad enough that I have to go back for another test at 28 weeks - and I am not looking forward to that purely because I am worried I will feel ill again for ages.
I think that everything that can go wrong is going to go wrong for me this time! Age is against me, weight is against me, past delivery history is against me, MS has been terrible and is still not gone (although not to Hngrymummy's level (really feel for her!)) - just waiting and expecting for all thigs to hit!!! I breezed through the last 2 pregnancy's waaaay to easily!DD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

well I had to have a nap, so we'll see what happens and yeah hassle i'll see what I can do, I can't have the baby this weekend as my hubby is a grooms man for his best friend on sunday. They did ask him before I got pregnant and we have back up plans and they have been so nice about it!
So in short Hassle, today or tomorrow would be best, I'll try!!!0 -
Hello ladies
Quick question. At my routine midwife appointment yesterday my fundal thing mesaured 28 and I am 32wks tomrorow. I'm guessing its all a bit hit and miss anyway, bit like bmi measurements???0 -
It depends on how the baby is lying and who measures it and things Plymouth... Did the midwife mention anything about it?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
