  • You were lucky to get a sandwich moneysaver!! I got nothing after both my tests... The second time I was prepared and had a bag of crisps...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

Hassle I'm still overdue, did tell you I'd take as many people with me as possible.
Been having crampy period type pains and some backache, what do you all reckon possibly lead to something? they don't hurt too much just crampy.

Tink just ignore their comments of you can, hope you're feeling better soon. There's nothing wrong with saying you've not liked being pregnant, neither have I and I haven't had the hassle that you've clearly had.

Oh Tink, I'd give you a proper hug if I could.

What's making you unhappy about being pregnant? There is NOTHING wrong with having negative or mixed feelings about something that's having such a huge impact on you, and is about to change your life (I can't remember, is it your first??). It does not make you a bad person, it does not mean you are going to be a bad mummy, and it does not mean there is anything wrong with you.

I have never had any problems with food, so I can't pretend to understand properly, but I imagine it must put a lot of pressure on you, and on those who care about you and the baby. What could your family do to help the most? Could you write it down in a calm letter? Write the angry letter first and then bin it before you do the calm one?

Keep ranting on here too, it's good to get it out :)
  • Sorry to hear you are low Tinks x Is your OH being unsupportive then? Hope you can work it out hon.

hassle - it was me who was asking about peppermint tea :) Glad it seems ok to drink!

Fuzz - I know what you mean about feeling envious at other people announcing their pregnancies. I think it may be that initial high and buzz you get. I don't however envy the nerve-shredding 12 week climb though!
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

MV i've had peppermint cordial with hot water instead of peppermint tea and I know they sell that in morrisons
  • That sounds interesting bunny..never tried that!

I am constantly on the lookout for new and exciting soft drinks though so will give that a whirl!

Has anyone tried the 'So Good' fruity sparkling waters from Sainsburys? They're absolutely lush, and not like those nasty fizzy fruit waters you can get that are full of aspertine and saccarine..bleuggh!

These are just water and fruit uices..they are totally the best!

Labour vibes to all in need!!

Tinks - hugs for you, sorry you're having such a hard time of it. Don't feel you can't come on here and tell us how you're feeling.

Making a pregnant woman fast for 24 hours is very cruel!

Another one here wanting pizza now!

I'm 39 weeks today. Nothing else to report from me!

Make -it-3 B12 they inject into either your arse or arm. It's a little vial of stuff that looks like aftershock if you can remember what that shot looks like. it nips a bit but only for a minute or so. 103 is marginal so they may just do it the once or not at all.

Tink - tell them all to go fourth and multiply. Just lay it down, either you support me or you do one. come here and vent/moan/whatever anytime, you will need it for your sanity.

MV finger pricks are the worse.

I need to scream shout and generally scream. My OH is being a !!!!!!, we received an offer on my home yesterday and instead of discussing it he decided he was going to bed. I did some rough number crunching and I want to decline it as just too low for the number to work for us. During the day i was ill so my mum took the kids, when OH picked them up he told my mum that we had an offer and would be accepting it, so today i got asked when i was moving and blah blah stress pregnant blah. I said I wasn't moving and how the hell did she know about the offer anyway. Apparently i'm hormonal, our home is over crowded and she wouldn't be surprised if social services won't allow the baby home as no room. I live in a 2 bed flat that is 85sq m and is technically larges than the new 3 bed new builds. So firstly what i do is nothing to do with her, secondly why did oh tell her and thridly I bought this before i met OH so legally he has absolutly no say anyway which he seems to not want as he just goes to bed.:mad::mad: oh and my BP cuff says my bo is 148/97 and i have a splitting headache. antenatal daycare want me around 1pm so i will no doubt be MIA for a bit.

  • Hubby bought some of those mini chicago town microwave peperoni pizzas on off in Tesco a couple of weeks ago... They really hit the spot... I fancy them about 40% of the time now... The other 60% of the time I'm just fancying Cadbury's Time Outs...
