Sorry for naughty words:o:o:o But there really is no other word I could of used considering this pregnancy!!

I'm soooo looking forward to the contraception chat! Do they do that before they discharge you at hospital any more???

I don't mind them. My OH hates them and has never uttered one since i've known them. She's not religious.
Yep love being pregnant....from finding out to week 11 was grim with no evidence of a baby and feeling like poop, but now I have my physical evidence I'm loving it..although I do battle with the midwife each appointment, she's determined to find an infection or some swelling on me somewhere!:rotfl::rotfl:
Only downside at the moment is the unable to bend over and the mega itchy belly button:o:D I've become a belly addict too, much rather watch my belly bouncing around than the tv atm...may have something to do with DHs choice of programmes though:rotfl:

Well, if you enjoy it...have as many as possible :rotfl:

TV is dire at the best of times. Not sure i'll get into your hobby though! :rotfl:

Was it on this thread or the less than 12 weeks that I was asked if I was going to make an honest woman of my OH.....I am asking on Friday. Something has come all over me. I never asked the last two, but this time it seems right.

Catch you all soon and hope to hear more good news from you lot over the next few months!

Tell my DH that..he's adamant we're sticking at 2!:( Hoping I can persuade him though;)

Don't think it was here but I lurk on all the threads anyway:o I'm sure she'll say yes but doesn't make it any less nerve wracking;) Hope all goes to plan and I'm a great believer in if it feels right...jump in feet first:D
Good luck and pls report back, I love a good engagement story:D:D:D

Your DH doesn't know what he's missing. :D

I don't have a belly big enough sadly, or i'd join in :rotfl:

Well, people I have mentioned it too seem to think she'll 100% say yes. But it's me asking, so i'm the one worrying. She said she wants too on more than one occasion, but she's probably changed her mind :o I'll let you know Friday afternoon :o

Kitkat - congratulations, Theo is gorgeous:D:D Glad you've got him home now.

MOTM - my brain isn't working too well and it's a fair few years since I did my statistics at school but i think chances of a boy are 2 in 3. I.e. you could have 2 girls, or 2 boys, or 1 boy and 1 girl - so in 2 out of 3 of those possibilities you would get a boy hence 2/3 or 66%.
Just seen your latest post - good luck for friday, come and tell us all the details afterwards!!!!

Courgette - glad you got your own way today!
  • all will go as planned:D think its normal to stress...DH knew for definite I'd say yes(been bugging him about it from 4weeks into our relationship:o) but he still shook like a leaf while asking:D

Bexta it is sooo forced! My MW told me off for using a pump... apparently its unnatural... I felt like saying to her F*** BFing then I will purely FF!!!! I think they should just respect our wishes and help if we ask them too!!!

Glad you approve of the name Fuzz!! We wern't sure at first but I always wanted Theo as a name, Logan was OHs choice as we wanted something a bit unusual, but no complicated spellings, although my mum though Theo was spelt Feo and I have had to spell both names out to all the relatives!!

Heres a piccy http://i1031.photobucket.com/albums/y373/kittykitkat5566/DSC02874.jpg he does look a bit like he is being tortured!!

What a cutie :) Congratulations Kitkat. I'm sorry the birth wasn't the one you hoped for but I'm happy you've got a cute little man that you so obviously love to bits :)

I'm excited because I have my consultants appointment tomorrow. I know it's not really exciting, but I love anything to do with the fact that I'm pregnant and anything that makes it more real :D I hope I get to hear the heartbeat this time. I've also been thinking about what he might say...I'm coming up with worst case scenarios just in case so I won't be too upset. But hopefully it is just routine and they won't feel the need for me to see a consultant again.

I think I need to talk pillows soon. My mini bump is getting bigger I reckon and I'm noticing it being uncomfortable at night...god knows what it's going to be like when it's huge. Do you guys use normal pillows? Or have you bought special pillows?

Giz - we had some spare 3 foot pillows as we have a 6 foot wide bed:D:D but when we changed our bedding all the sets had normal sized pillow cases so the 3 foot pillows were relegated to storage. Means they're long enough to support bump and go between legs:D Why don't you try normal pillows first then if you feel its not enough you can look for a v pillow.

I've got a 5ft pillow and swear by it. DH calls it Percy, its just as well we've got a 6ft wide bed, with me and bump, DH, Percy, the cat and sometimes DS in there as well wouldn't be enough room otherwise!! lol

I have a 5 foot long v shaped pillow that my hubby treated me too, except he uses it more than I do, he sleeps with it between his legs, lol
when he's not using it, the cats lie curled up in it
I'm 3rd in line to using my own pillow
