Morning cherubs
fuzz yes same point as you, and itchy, I assume summat to do with the stretching
Anyhoo, I'm hitting the big smoke today for the matinee showing of "Wicked!!" Saw it a couple of years ago with my sis and loved it, so got the soundtrack and DD loved the music!
I told her she could see it when she was 12...........well she is now 7, and has been an unbelievable STAR this summer hols, so we are going to see it today
Oh, thought I was in labour at 3.15am, cramping, waves of pain etc etc, transpires actually that my lactose intolerance has reared up again
Interestingly, I didn't panic, which I have been assuming I would, but it did make me realise I am woefully unprepared for the actual event! Therefore list of things to do!..........- Pack that flaming hospital bag instead of keep writing lsits about it!
- Put both Blackberry and mobile on charge each night (both flat-ish this morning!)
- Keep either land phone or mobile next to bed to call for help when needed
- Prepare bag for DD for g/parent sleepover!
Wow super long post from me, sorry!0 -
Just watching rubbish tv. Why do all 'developers' feel it necessary to rip out all the lovely original features of old houses and stick in blandness all round? Beautiful fireplaces - gone. Lovely architraves - gone. Stained glass front door - chucked out. Lovely interior doors - replaced with cheapo from Wickes. Exterior brickwork (that matches all the neighbours') - rendered over. Whole place carpetted and painted in beige and white.
Makes me quite cross that people have such poor imagination.
Sorry, not really pg related, except that it's what I'm stuck watching while I'm off sick.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
hmm..thanks chaps.
I know some herbal teas are meant to be uterine stimulants and you should steer clear + essential oils are best avoided, but when it comes to bog standard herbal/fruit teas, opinion seems to differ.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Hi everyone, another crappy night of sleep, my body ached so much when i got up this morning from the horrible mattress. I ordered a new one last night, can't wait for it to come.
I have been looking at baby monitors, my mum says she will buy us one. I have seen the bt 150, the bt 100 and the phillips advent 510, has anyone had one of these, does anyone know of a good one.Married 09/09/090 -

Congratulations to Freebie and Kitkat!!:j:T:T:j
I'm now 8th on the list!!:eek: I'm slowly starting to feel a bit more "ready" for this life-changing event, and all the baby pictures I see make me want to hold mine, although I'm still scared of the responsibility!
MOTM - twins, how exciting (as well as daunting!)! I take it from your last post that they're non-identical twins?
Hngry - so sorry you're suffering so much, I'd be "wallowing" just the same if I was in your position, hope it picks up soon.
Rach - yay for nearly finishing work!
I've just got back from my mw appt with a new mw, she seems very nice. But I was surprised to get my urine sample back fully intact i.e. I've had to empty it at home! I don't know why I was so surprised, I guess it is my wee after all, if I'm capable of getting it in there I'm capable of getting rid of it, but no other mw has done that so I wasn't expecting it!0 -
Gena I always get given my wee back to empty myself, its lovely isn't it. I normally forget for the rest of the day as well and go to show my notes to hubby when he gets home and notice its still sat there in my folder - its just great being pregnant.
I'm not going to use a monitor so can't help moneysaver sorry. I found it to be one of those things we used cos we had but didn't really need, although our house was smaller then but its all open plan now. I've pretty good ears and intend on keeping baby in the same room as me wherever I am, bar when I go to the loo.0 -
I think it depends on the midwife... First time I always got my pot of wee back, last time the midwife used to poke the test strip back in and bin it all together and then towards the end she started giving it me back... She said if it was a good clean sample there was no reason not to use the pot again...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
