tigtag - ouch! I can't help :rotfl::rotfl: though at your return to work form...we have to put illness/symptoms on ours!Chose not to find out. Its nice to still have that to look forward to, it's baby's little secret, and will be more of an announcement at birth.
Not bothered about things like planning nursery colours/baby clothes etc - I hate pastels anyway.emsywoo123 wrote: »Oi you I wasn't telling anyone so KK could tell all herself! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Got carseat now so we officially have all the bits we needI might give the cover a wash but otherwise it looks pretty much brand new. They only use it for demos! And my friend picked up the breast pump for me from lovely lady today. Must drop her a note as she's now given me £200 of stuff for free and I've never even met her. She even offered to run errands for me when I said my friend was going to collect as I couldn't manage with the SPD.
Letting agent can't send anyone to even look at the shower til Friday  and I bet we'll need a new one so it will be at least the middle of next week! Still, I quite like baths
fuzz - hope your friends op went ok.
krystal - glad no more bleeding, perhaps just cervix or something.
Welcome to those graduating from the 12 week thread
Sure there's more to say but I've forgotten and am going for a bath!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

We've got this and it is gorgeous. We got the cot bed, a matching wardrobe with drawers (really solid) and a pine toy box, some winnie the pooh bedding, a pine curtain pole and curtains for £90 on ebay :money:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think you've helped us come to a decision to get a cotbed.

ouch sounds painful tigtag!!
rach im counting down the days left of work aswell! although in a weird way i think il miss it. the people i work with are sooo lovely (well most of them) and we have great craic. ive never been off before longest ive had off is 3 weeks i think in 5 yrs so it will be very weird not going to work anymore!. im also a bit nervous about going back next yr. even though i know ive a job to go back to the boss told me they can put me in any department. so could be going to a completely new job which is a bit nerve wracking. although im one of the more experienced members there so hopefully theyll just slot me back where i came from to save them having to train me up for elsewhere.
i really need to wash my hair but i really cannot be annoyed. if i was on mat leave i could just leaveit until tomorrow argh0 -
Thanks everyone

This is the car seat that goes with the pushchair I want (from M&P) but looking on the cybex website there's only one Aton. So I'm thinking I could get it much cheaper elsewhere. M&P = £125, Halfords = £99.99 and argos = £84.99.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Very quick post as a long day and we're all tired, will post more later or tomorrow - everything okay, but there are 2 little wrigglers inside OH. Not much more to say, other than the dates are alright and good blo0dy job we didn't get any kind of pushchair or anything!
(I've posted the above in 3 threads, so don't get confused if you visit all 3, I really have posted it 3 times)0 -
Thanks everyone

Wow, I am feeling really positive. What a nice change! I think it was the other pg lady I had a v quick coffee with at work today, after emailing a bit when we found out we're both due within a week of each other we finally met up. Was only a mad 15 min chat between meetings but lovely.
giz - we also got a cotbed, only really as it was given to us, but it does seem sturdy and makes sense as we have the space. I think it's this one, but don't really know! I'm not one to turn down a freebie :money:Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Oh, very quickly, we've been offered a Nuchal scan.......yay or nay?0
