We've just won and collected a gorgeous swinging crib on ebay on GBP21. I'm now actually starting to get excited. Cause we haven't had to buy anything for this baby, I've not been plowing though loads of baby websites and catalogues like I did last time so it hasn't really felt as real at this point as it did last time. We've changed the layout of our lounge since DS was born and now have a dog so now have room and a need for somewhere for baby to sleep when downstairs. My SIL had a crib for her first DS and used it loads, so decided I really wanted one.0

courgette hugs, sorry it wasn't positive
So annoying when you know the dates are wrong. I think my actual ovulation based DD is 2 days before my LMP one, but 2 days is nothing.
DH in a better mood thankfully. We got fish and chips for dinner, yummyNo real plans for tonight or tomorrow, next thing is lunch at the in laws on sunday.
By the way budgetblonde seems to be in hospital according to facebook. Seems to be ok, but BP high and she did say she'd been having some bloody discharge.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

LilacPixie wrote: »Horse - with DD1 my bp shot up and ++ protein at 38 weeks they monitored me and I went into labour naturally, with DD2 the BP and ++ protein started at 30 ish weeks and I was induced at 37.
Well thats me back from my little break, pelvis is shot to bits I walked far too much. what did i miss?
My BP went up at 32 wks with my first pregnancy with ++ protein - got induced at 38 wks. I just didn't expect it to happen again.
Hospital were saying I just had a trace of protein, but I read my notes when I was discharged and they wrote it was ++. They said they may give me meds to lower BP if it's up again, but they were pretty keen to start me if it continued to rise. I hope they'll induce me if I don't go myself.2017 - no clutter to be seen challenge: 72/2017

Hi all. I had a day trying to keep ds quiet as dh is on nights, hell!
Courgette- sorry your sweep didn't go as you would have like, my dates were changed by a week with DS an I had exactly same perspective how could I have conceived on day 7, especailly as dh was working away.
Those cakes are ugly!
MV your due date is 3 days after me and your bump is so petite, mine is bursting every seam on every item of clothing!
My dh and I have had a tough year and this pregnancy has been in the background ticking away, now I'm feeling a little lonely in this pregnancy as I seem to have just realised there is a baby on the way! My dh hasn't had much time, so we've had no time to snuggle up, he hasn't had opportunity to just sit and put his hand on my tummy and feel this baby move, its just so strange this time, also I had pnd and only came off meds a couple of months before falling this time, and I think I've hit my first bad low point since then, feeling guilty for feeling so low, so many people would be happy to be pregnant and I'm moaning!
Sorry to offload girls, only just now do I seem to realise how I feel!0 -
TWoflower - offloading is good. Never ever feel guilty. EVER
Horse - I am mentally preparing myself for the cycle again this time. There seems to be some conflicting information about too. I have heard that having pre eclampsia once makes it no more likely that you will get it again to having it once means you probably wont get it again to having it once makes you more likely to get it again. I hate the conflict of information.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000
