I think the front wheels on that pushchair might cause you problems on gravel. I have the Babystyle Oyster and it's similar at the front, the slightest of rough terrain and the pushchair just fails... Generally the bigger the wheels the better...
Thanks Krystal. I will bear the wheels in mindWe're off to a mothercare superstore and a toys r us in a few weeks so will be looking at loads more yet.
Just this one is the first we've liked that's close to budget. Do you find you come across gravel a lot when out and about? It's not something you really notice when you're walking
@lilian - that was lucky.
MERFE my blood pressure has been similar so far. Think it went up slightly at the last one. I was told by others on here that they like it to be lower...Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Hmmm, found this comment:
"The suspension isn’t a problem at all, you really don’t need to worry. I have a gravel path next to my house which I need to walk down every day to get anywhere, and the Urbo took it in it’s stride. I find that most pushchairs aren’t really that great on grass, but the Urbo was as good as any other’s i’ve tried." from http://parentbuzz.co.uk/mamas-and-papas-urbo-reviewBaby Giz born 6/2/110 -

I'm not sure I've had to push it over any gravel to be honest lol... It failed miserably on sand, but then most of them do...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hi all, still here and still pregnant - no baby today for me!! Have to go back tomorrow as they are too busy to give me the attention needed. Went into the hospital and baby was checked, everything is OK and had another doppler scan and baby is getting blood supply from me, but my placenta isn't pushing enough blood through as it should be so he does need to come out sooner rather than later. I am on the list for tomorrow and the midwife in the triage unit basically said when I ring up to push them to get me as had been delayed from today.
Hope there are some babies today for others xxThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Hugs Tinks. My due date for my lost bean is next week..it still hurts.
Courgette - yep play looks awesomeMy OH's mother was telling me she nearly jumped out of her skin when they went to see it. I do love a good horror/ghost story! Good luck with the sweep btw!
Eww lilian those are really horrible!
Good work on getting your money back Giz. I think it was rude of the shop bloke to say you were cheeky too...darned cheek!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
those baby cakes are scary!
aww sir m hopefully you get some better news tomorrow and torture them if you have to. thats one thing ive learnt being pregnant the NHS are carp and wont do anything until you absoloutely torture them!
RANT ALERT
i just phoned up the docs to make my 37 week appointment with the community midwife. receptionist said "oh we dont have one of those anymore" me "erm what do you mean" receptionist "i mean we dont have a midwife any more" me "so what are you meant to do if your pregnant?" so she told me to phone the hosptial and see if they would take me for the rest of the appointments. of course hospital wont see me because im not a high risk pregnancy etc and by the time id get booked in it would probs be time to have the baby  so hosp told me to phone the docs to see if my GP would take me for the rest of the appointments.
why is everything so hard? and what exaclty is the point of having to see a community midwife if the GP can supposedly do everything she can do anyway. Rant Over sorry just feel a bit ditched by the midwife lol.0 -

Groan, what a pain after you've got yourself mentally prepared. Good luck for tomorrow though.
My sweep is at 3.15, I'd like labour vibes please ladies - I'm getting really worried about having to argue about not having an induction just yet (sorry, SirM)Updating soon...0
