to grumpy DH, I think my DH thinks I should have the house clean and tidy before bubs has arrived, but I physically haven't had the time - oh well its not a tip but not as tidy as I would like. I wish they could be in our shoes for once and know how hard it is being preggers.
Just catching up with the past couple of days and spotted this. I have a cunning plan (which I need DH to agree to do). I intend to make him live like me for a day. I will tell him when he's feeling sick/tired/needs the toilet/*has* to eat etc etc. Then he might get the hang of the fact that I am no longer in much control of these things. I might even start it at 3am with a "you feel sick, go and sit by the loo for half an hour till it passes" then when he comes back to bed I'll kick him out again coz he needs a wee! Oh, and he must carry a bucket around with him all the time because he never knows when sickness will strike....
Was a bit annoyed this morning, as the first thng I did upon waking up was throw up into a bucket. DH didn't say a word, eve to ask if I was ok, because "he thought it was just a normal part of me waking up now" Well, yes it is, but it doesn't make it any less horrible. Grrr
I hope all the inductions go well today. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

Thanks Chakani
I'm very lucky, I had no MS at all, and apart from a couple of annoying headaches, it's all been ok so far (touch wood!)
Just hoping the little fella isn't saving up all his mischief for when he arrives instead!
Going out for Wagamamma's with a work friend today (drool - I am addicted to noodles/Asian food/curry etc), and then OH is going to get the 3 courses for a tenner deal from M&S for dinner.

Well by the time I got an EDD I was 26 weeks, so probably 25 weeks.
I had suspicions early on and did tests, but they came back negative all the way through, so I just put any symptoms (I didn't get many) down to tiredness or stress at work, because I definitely wasn't pregnant. It wasn't til I started getting a mini-bump that I went to the doctor, and he found the heartbeat there and then. That was a bit of a shock
I was riding horses that had never been ridden before, jumping and competing my own horse, and working with violent young offenders all the way until we found out as well, so we are very very lucky. I've not taken so many risks with this one.
This is me at about 29 weeks last time

We're off for a curry tonight as a concert we were going to in a few weeks has been cancelled and the refund's just come through
Then this weekend we're off to a B&B on the Daily Express £10 pppn offer, it includes breakfast which is great! Then to a National Trust park afterwards - yay!
Anyone else up to anything good this weekend (apart from having babies of course!)? xMy debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |
