Good luck tomorrow induction ladies.
I've decided that i'm not having a sweep tomorrow, we're just going to let her run her course and hope she arrives in september so is one of the oldest in her year which should hopefully give her a head start.
Just had some yummy chinese for brothers birthday. Yum yum yum. Plus there was leftovers so i have breakfast tomorrow
OH is in a lovely bad mood tonight but I guess it's because he's worried about the birth and very busy at work trying to get things done before the birth.
Love and labour vibes to everyoneWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Thanks everyone for all the good luck wishes, Sarahangel I know it could happen really quickly I'm hoping that does happen to me but have a feeling with everything else I'll be like the woman on one born every minute (joy) who took about 3 or 4 gos for it to work!! Anyway, will be taking my netbook with me and mobile broadband as reckon will be bored. .Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

Giz - wow your 16wk pics look like me now - I'm 31wks!!! I really do look quite pathetic, although the only bonus is theres no belly in the way so i can still do most things without huffing puffing. Yours does look cute though!
Good luck to all you ladies being induced or having sweeps :j
Can't sleep so I'm off to the gym......0 -
Good luck to everyone having an induction today! Looking forward to seeing lots of baby photos over the weekend.
Had my scan yesterday. All looks good and baby is growing well. Very active!0 -
Good luck to all induction ladies today. Hope everything moves nice and quickly for you and you're all enjoying mummy cuddles really soon. Appropriate vibes for everyone else.
My cross-stitch arrived last night, which I'm doing as a Christmas present for DS's grandparents from him. Its not as complicated as I thought so should have it finished long before Christmas so I can get it framed and get on with the new baby one, it would be nivce to have it finished before baby is a year old, which is how long it took for me to finish DS's.
I've got a friend coming for coffee this morning whose had 2 m/c this year and I haven't seen her since she was last pg, so hoping its not going to be awkward. I've then got physio after lunch and off to another friend for the kids to play this afternoon so a busy day all in. Hopefully I'll have enough to keep me distracted from being uncomfortable this afternoon, I'll then have an early night.0 -
morning everyone
good luck today those with inductions xx
welshlassie I started a cross stitch for DD when I was pregnant with her, thinking I'd have loads of time to get it done on maternity leave. It's probably 3/4 finished and she is 5 lol I really should dig it out - I might get it done in time for this one.
I have my 25 week appointment today, have to take both the little uns with me, should be fun. Normally they are great one their own but together a right pair, they were really good at the cinema the other day though so hopefully they will be again today.0 -
Sir M - I hope you are one of the lucky ones then x

Nene, I didn't have a sweep with DD2 and went into labour on my own
I'm not entirely convinced they send you into labour... Most of the induction ladies have had sweeps this week haven't they? It probably works if you're about to go into labour anyway...
I had a crappy nights sleep... Woke up some time about 3 urgently needing a wee and then never really went back off properly after that... I really needed a drink but wasn't awake enough to go and get one... Hubby got me one at 5 when he got up for work but then I properly went back to sleep so didn't drink anything from it until I got up with the baby anyway lol....
Good luck with the inductions ladies, can't wait to see some picsA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
