Sir M.. most of mine were way under 2.5 kg.. even my baby who had a cardiac arrest as he was delivered wa shown to me and I got a mini cuddle... after they resussed him and before they scootled him to NICU. They will check the apgars (breathing/tone etc) and go from there same as with any other baby.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Wow, Giz, you're properly bumpy! I just look a bit portly still, don't really have a bump at all. I'm quite jealous

just to wish all the ladies being induced tomorrow good luck and good labour vibes. xxxx
Think I am going to bed now, am tired and dh is playing on the ps3. stupid shooting game which makes the baby go mad. Poor child probably thinks it lives in a warzone!
We really need to do some sorting in the baby's room this weekend, I am going to keep hassling dh til he paints the windowsill and all the stuff that is in the cot needs to go somewhere! I did wash the moses basket covers today so can make that back up again tomorrow, and will wash all the muslins, washable wipes and nappy liners.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Good luck for the induction 4 tomorrow!!
Sir M - I had the pessary with DD and I was told it could take up to 24-48 hours to work. It was given at midday, I went into established labour at 3pm and DD was born at 7.17pm!! So it could happen sooner than you think.
I've had 2 hospital appointments today, one with occupational health which was useless, the best advice they could give me was don't walk too much, don't climb the stairs un-nessarily (not easy when you work on the first floor with no lift!), no advice on seating at my desk or work space risk assessment. Well, at least I went and made them aware.
The second was with the physio and I have a firm diagnosis of SPD now, apparently I have all the classic symptoms, can't climb stairs, can't lift legs properly, pain eases with putting feet up, worse pain at night, interuppted sleep. I've been given tubigrip support which I can't wear until I have seen the haematologist in case it causes a blood clot as I am on anti-coagulant therapy. Apparently I have a tilted, high left hip and I've been given a few exercises to do at home which should make the muscles work a bit more. Physio wants to see me weekly for now and I have group session next Tuesday.
So I have 5 hospital appointments in 3 different hospitals now in the next week , I'm starting to get fed up of the inside of hospitals!!
Haematology bloods tomorrow, physio Tuesday, blood results with consultant Wednesday, liver team on Thursday morning & physio Thursday afternoon, its a good job I'm off on holiday next week - some holiday!!
On the upside, baby is really starting to wriggle about now which is the best feeling!!Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110
