Doppler was ok as bubs is getting blood supply from mum, but is still an issue with the resistance so looks like he'll be better out than in . . .

Glad doppler was ok. I am going in 9am but I dont think I will be worked on straight away. I think it could be funny if we both have our babies the same day and yours is 5lbs and mine is probably double the weight!! Lol. They are starting with the gel, they did say AM and then another dose PM, then if nothing I will be put on a drip Saturday I'm actually getting really nervous, I don't like the idea of the contractions being more severe and painful, but I spose each pain will bring me closer to this lazy baby!!

MLSL: Keep us posted, good luck, and I look forward to hearing all the gorey details!!

Pink Mexican *hugs* I am sorry to hear of your previous losses, I am against induction too as I worry that its meddling with nature, but I feel by tomorrow I will also be 12 days over and I do believe babies arent meant to stay in forever, it puts them up against a lot of risk. I feel like I have waited long enough, and now it is time for me to meet my baby I am sure everything will go fine

Just texted DH with request for him to go to M&S on way home to save me going, all I got back was 'ok'. Hmmm do I read that as busy or p!ssed off. oh well, he did offer and seems silly to spend bus fare to get there when he will be on bus anyway.

I must go and put the moses basket bedding in the washer, I want to be ready in case this baby decides to make an early appearance! Have done an online Tesco shop - why is it always £90 however much I seem to buy?! Food has got so pricey.

Pinkmexican - all will be well for you tomorrow (apart from what sounds like a painful experience!) - it sounds like waiting for an induction can be a scary thing anyway. Pay no attention to the stupid DHL man either, his job is to deliver not pass comment on the parcels!! Especially when the comment involves a complete lack of tact to a pregnant woman! Load of superstitious nonsense. Don't forget to come back and tell us your story:D:D

Rach - probably busy, besides if its because he's p'd off its his problem not yours, its hardly an unreasonable request!:D

Just been to Primarni and bought two sports bras for £6 - size 40D! Didn't bother getting measured in M&S this time as was measured a month ago and was 38D, but the bras I bought are too tight around the chest now, although the cups are fine. So I guessed! And they're the most comfy things I've ever worn!

Decided not to buy M&S any more as the cheapest were £14 and they're a bit lacy and make my nipples itch - plus if I'm going to grow out of them that quickly...

EDIT - oh, also they have some long nightdresses that button up at the front which would be great for BFing in the hospital - £3.50 or £4 depending on length. Also some long vests in bright colours that would be good for layering over bump and under normal clothes - £2.50.

How exciting 4 of us having inductions, seems like I'm the only one having the pessary rather than the gel (possibly because I'm earlier . .) I think re where you have the induction depends on the reasons for it, in my hospital if you are being induced because you're late then you go onto the ante natal ward if like me you're being induced for medical reasons then it says you go to the labour ward but whether this happens or not we shall see. When I was taken in for my high b/p I was on the ward where they started the ladies off and I don't think it is as pleasant as the labour ward . .

I just hope I get my mummy cuddles straight away, anyone experienced having a baby under the magic 2.5 kg?? (as is classed as low birth weight) - bit worried he will be whisked off to special care, but I suppose this could happen to any bubs . .
